I found Annie online because I was looking for a tutor to help me to improve my Spanish as I haven't used it much since I did my GCSEs 3 years ago. Annie is a fantastic tutor who planned my lessons perfectly and really helped me improve my Spanish quickly. She also had a lot of recommendations for resources I can use to improve my Spanish at home and set useful activities for me to do between lessons. She is very welcoming and friendly so our lessons together were always comfortable and enjoyable and I wasn't afraid to make mistakes in the lesson environment, which really helped me to learn. I would highly recommend Annie to anyone looking for a language tutor.

Superb French tuition with a friendly fun approach. Annie supported by son with his French GCSE, he was really struggling with it and almost ready to give up. Annie turned it around, building up his confidence and making it enjoyable - he passed with an excellent grade. Very highly recommended!

I spent 2 weeks in England and I had 3hours of one to one english lesson per day.
It was a pleasure learning with Annie. She was able to adapt to my level and my expectations. Everyday she proposed me new activities that allowed me to improve my english.

i started doing french lessons with annie to prepare for my gcses as i felt i was lagging behind at school, and i can't stress how helpful she has been ! she has helped me improve my french so much and achieve a 9 in the real exam, and her lessons have always been a comfortable environment for me to learn in. she's very engaging and fully immerses you in the language, it was really nice to just speak in french and get used to thinking in that french too. i've really enjoyed my lessons with her and developing a passion for french thanks to her creative and interactive ways to learn french, so i couldn't recommend her enough, thank you so much ☺️

Annie has been my son’s French tutor for the last couple of years. When he started his GCSE and we knew he needed support. After the first two lessons he told me that he understood more grammar than during the last year at school and he remained to be enthusiastic about the lessons. During the pandemic we moved to online sessions which did not affect the quality of teaching. My son’s French was improving quickly but he found regular revision challenging. Annie was very creative in keeping him motivated and often messaged him during the week to support his learning. Closer to the exams she was extra flexible and focused on my son’s individual revision needs accommodating his hectic GCSE schedule. The result speaks for itself- he got 9! Annie is simply an amazing teacher who really cares about her students!

Annie at Tailored Languages was a five star find. She was recommended to us to help with my daughter’s French GCSE. My daughter looked forward to every lesson and Annie provided exactly the no-nonsense but kind encouragement my daughter needed. As a result, my daughter went into her exams feeling confident and well rehearsed with the speaking and listening elements particularly. Annie was very knowledgable about the curriculum and was flexible in her approach to lessons - even continuing with them whilst on holiday via zoom! I highly recommend Annie and will certainly be using her again should my daughter go on to do French A Level.
