Gave 5 stars because i can't give 100.
Absolutely Brilliant Place for Deutsch learner. The location is great, the people are more than happy to help and everything was kept very professional. Let me just say how reassuring and validating it feels to hear other people talking in german with each other. I felt nervous but happy at the same time. After studying for so long without a partner to converse with in person, i felt not so thrilled about learning german. But then the minute i walked in and others started listening and talking in german to me, i felt so happy. Although, others were not able to understand me because my aussprache is not good, i felt my joy of learning german renewed. For those who care, there is a great library full of german books of every taste and new ones too, and movies you can rent. Its spacious, inviting and brings calmness. I came here to give my A1 test. I passed with a solid 71%. Thanks to the entire team who help keep up this great place.

I've started going to their film screening every month, and it's really nice to see such involving and thought-provoking films that one wouldn't otherwise be aware of. Wheelchair users take note: the Institute is in a big wedding-cake building, but it is accessible - you just need to go round the back and the access is via Cafe Berlin. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Brilliant place, traditional located in an exquisite part of London - a few yards from Hyde Park in an ellegant leafy road. Gorgeous building and colourful walls. Super friendly staff. Spacious and very peaceful library with vast range of books, magazine, newspapers and surprising cinema and music session. A lovely robot greeting us and answering 1000 questions about the library. Good toilets, classrooms sizes and equipment are extraordinary! The whole place very luminous and clean. A place to visit !

Overall pretty good experience. As a native, English speaker this is my first foreign language. The course is fast paced, which for a beginner language student is tricky to keep up at times.
The tutor makes no secret of the fact, as a student, you do need to put the work in. The fundamentals are covered and within a few months - working on the exercises in addition to my own additional practice - I can broadly read and understand basic German. If you are looking for a quick result with minimal effort then I would say this is not for you, but if you really want to build a strong base to seriously study this language then the beginner courses are ideal.

I am not happy with this institute at all. I was zero in German(zero- it means you don’t know even letters), so had course A1.1
First of all I would like to mention that it is not my first language. I am not native English speaker and 3 years ago studied it too. So I have experience.
The biggest problem that this course is not for people who didn’t have any knowledge of German. They don’t explain many important things. Then they give you exercises and somehow you have to do them. Exercises are full of words which you didn’t learn and rules which you don’t know yet. It confuses you, makes you angry. In fact you just loose desire to learn. Rules which they explain they explain very often in German 😳 How can human without knowing the language understand? Of course there are people who get everything very fast but unfortunately I am not that 1% of geniuses.
The course is too fast and not for absolute beginners.

Very bad customer service. It takes long time (it has been over 2 weeks and still waiting) to get back to your reply and the receptionist is very unfriendly. Please carefully choose your teacher. My teacher is like a 19th century primary school teacher. she picks up each person to read text book sentences and answer the question, not in a way of motivating you. it is more like a patronising you. They told me that I should ask the teacher to change her teaching style. really? is it my job after all? They don't care of students? I could not change my class either. What a waste of money. 'Rosetta stone' is much better to learn the language.

Very good as a learning institute, very poor customer service. I was trying to enroll over the phone and I had to wait 1.5 hrs before someone answered my call. There is not even the option for online enrollment + payment.
