Fully aware people just look at these reviews to laugh and not actually to see what the school is like. But it is genuinely horrific. The teachers seem all nice when you come on transition days and parents evening but they’re scums, bar a couple. The motto is ‘Experience Excellence Everyday’, I must have been going to the wrong one then. Joke of a school. Absolutely do not send your kid here.

I love this place, but some of the teachers annoy me, including all the other years, always shoving yr7s down the stairs, or in the halls. I go to this club called acting through song (the teacher who runs it is so sweet but sadly she’s leaving) and the older years are SO rude to the younger years, thinking they run the place, and are always complaining about us, like grow UP and get a GRIP!!!

You get a C for calling a substitute teacher a sub, and you don’t get sent home when you’ve been sick the teachers tell you to stay in school because they care more about attendance than the students health it’s a disgrace. 🤦🏽‍♀️ You also get a flag or a C for being late to school when you’re only a minute or 2 late.

They care more about uniform and unimportant things than they do about students well being. The detention room they have for lunch times is literally hostile, if you have social anxiety and ur going here ur done

This school is an absolute joke. Kids not allowed to take blazers off in the heat, kids are being told they can’t drink water in classrooms, teachers purposely keeping the windows shut on hot days, if the kids do any of the above they are disciplined. The reports of bullying is disgusting, seems like there is no support. Some of the teachers not willing to help while other teachers are thriving on a power trip. Some kids being a few minutes late are being punished excessively.
So for the teachers and heads please start concentrating on educating and the welfare of our kids rather than thinking it’s an Army training regiment.

Everyone hates me at this school. I feel like everyone's fake to me. This schools made my life worse. I feel like im starting to die out. Every single night before school I just cry knowing everyone hates me here and that they all think I'm wierd. It really gets to me yknow. I really don't like anyone here but I can't go anywhere else can I. Every older year group kicks me around I feel like a punching bag. I really want out of this hell. I want to go back to my home happy. Not sad. I really don't want to go back here I really don't. Please just give me more time. Please hermitage. I really don't want this anymore. I don't want to be sad alone. I want to be happy. I want to feel happiness. Please.

This school is absolutely terrible. I am a LITERAL year 7 and I'm getting harassed pushed and shoved every single DAY and I tell the teachers and they do nothing. This school makes no sense at all. Apparently every single year is split into "areas" for some odd reason. The education is also terrible. As Literally a few minutes of me going into school people were complaining to move seats away from me. Im sorry but the teachers are ignorant and don't understand children at all. I've had subs for half my year and they were all TERRIBLE just plain TERRIBLE. Honestly I'd give it a lower rating if Google was being smart one day. Also the headteacher is absolutely useless Ive practicallly never seen her at this point. Btw the System of wellbeing is way worse. I Know MANY people in YEAR 7. That are suicidal. 1/5 honestly just plain terrible.
