My 16 year old daughter and her friend enlisted on a beginners course at this school. Daria Gabryanczyk, who runs the school, was especially helpful and catered for their needs as both girls were non-Russian speakers and offered them 2:1 sessions which suited them perfectly. I was really impressed by the schools communication with students and parents and they made every effort to be flexible with tuition times to fit around the student. The quality of the teaching was excellent and the girls thoroughly enjoyed attending class. All staff are very friendly and professional. Would strongly recommend for all ages. Thanks to Everyone at Russian Lessons for a fantastic experience!

I came here for a beginners class.

The classes were small (4-5 people), which is ideal. Based on the price which is quite low in comparison with others I saw, the quality of the teaching was fine.

I would have preferred if our teacher had imposed a little bit more discipline on the class - a couple of us had a tendency to go off on tangents (in English) which didn't help us to learn Russian. There was a little bit too much figuring out and not quite enough direction for my taste.

If you're interested in learning Russian, but not completely sure, then this beginners course could be perfect for you.

I have been having Russian lessons with russian-lessons.co.uk for almost a year due to work commitments taking me to Kazakhstan on a regular basis.

The administration is prompt and friendly, the facilities are well located and the teaching staff are excellent. I have had two teachers during my year and both have been attentive, responsive to my needs, adaptable, patient and, most importantly, they make the lessons enjoyable as well as informative.

My Russian has improved exponentially through the support of russian-lessons.co.uk (previously I was learning from online courses with limited success). There is no substitute for a 'real life' teacher. I would 100% recommend to anyone wishing to accelerate their learning.

It was really a great experience and exceeded my expectation. The teacher was very professional and helped me a lot to improve my rusty Russian skills. The group was very small, only 3 people usually, which made it perfect as we had lots of opportunities to practice speaking. I can really recommend it and will definitely come back there.

I started as a beginner in February and have continued with weekly 121 lessons with Irina throughout lockdown via Zoom. She is a great teacher - extremely friendly and professional, classes and the course in general are structured well with a mixture of reading, writing and listening exercises. I am making real progress and would definitely recommend the school. They have done great job of working flexibly through lockdown and I don't feel that learning remotely has been a disadvantage at all. Thank you!
