I completed both the beginners and improvers courses at Language Legends and throughly enjoyed them both! Helen created a warm and welcoming learning environment, which created a lovely atmosphere for the group. The resources were excellent and I continued to use them whilst travelling South America. Helen is a brilliant teacher who explains things in a way that is very easy to understand. The course focuses on the practical use of Spanish and how you would actually use it in conversation, which I found really useful. It's a nice and relaxed atmosphere too, so you don't feel overwhelmed while trying to learn.

Hi I have completed the beginners and am working through the intermediate Spanish course with Helen. There is a good mix of reading, writing and speaking Spanish in the lessons. The lessons are well prepared and structured and the atmosphere, created by Helen, allows us all to contribute. Helen carried out some 1-2-1 tutoring with our son for his Spanish GCSE and we were so glad she did. She was flexible in rearranging her schedule to help him prepare for his speaking test and also was brilliant in helping him with his written and listening skills. Even after our block of lessons was complete Helen was still providing us with revision material via Google Classroom that had been invaluable. I can’t recommended her highly enough! Top class

We joined the Intermediate French Class six weeks ago and we are so please we did. Helen our course tutor makes the course fun and interesting. There is a nice mix of people on the course and we all join in with the exercises and we are slowly getting to grips with the grammar and practicing useful french conversation. There is no pressure on anyone from Helen and group all respond well with her kind guidance.
We get printed lesson notes to work through and receive an email with the week's course as a link to listen to and work through again.
The lesson is an hour long and goes over so quickly. We really look forward to going each week and feel we are getting a lot of encouragement and support into getting closer to our goal of at least being able to make some conversation and get around when we visit France. We are not fluent by any means, but feel more confident that we will get by.
We highly recommend Helen and Language Legends.

Helen is an excellent and thoughtful teacher. She puts you at ease right away. You won't feel nervous or uncomfortable with her at all. I did the Beginners Spanish class, and then immediately did the Intermediate level one too. No matter what your level is, you'll find the right class at Language Legends.

I joined this Spanish group at the intermediate stage. I have really enjoyed it and learnt a great deal in a short time. Everyone in the group seems to enjoy learning together and practising our vocab.
The learning materials and online links are really useful. Helen is a great teacher and makes the sessions interesting and fun. Highly recommend.
