The harbour has had a lot of money thrown at it. Its the best bit. Town is OK but same as anywhere else these days, a bit in decline. Great cycling which suited us. Will definitely return.

This is a great place to visit. Had a lovely walk around Amble, stopped for coffee and meandered around the shopping sheds. Amble is well worth a visit and we're coming back.

Very nice upgrade of the harbour area with wee shops, coffee houses and eateries - and plenty parking round about. The area was buzzing when we visited and the food outlets - both eating in and takeaway were doing a roaring trade - plenty place to sit and eat too. We enjoyed wandering around.

Arriving just after midday it wasn't too difficult to find a parking space, even though the parking lot (long stay, close to harbour) isn't that big. It's paid for (Max £3.00) The Sunday market was a nice surprise for us. The market is rather big and has a great variety of things.

Never visited before but will definitely go back, a quint little village with a modern twist. Loved the sea huts that sell all different things. Would recommend Spurwlli's Ice cream parlour.
