We were in Appleby a couple of weeks ago, late afternoon and wanted a coffee and a parking disc. No idea where to find either (a number of coffee shops & tourist info shut by then) so called into the library where a very cheerful woman gave us a parking disc and a few suggestions for coffee including a local pub with a separate area as a coffee shop.
So very helpful, thank you!
