Mark is a great guitar teacher and I always look forward to my lesson. I always learn something new, and there’s a great balance of theory and practice. Absolutely amazing instructor who knows his stuff and has the experience to back up everything he says! Mark is a great guy and easy to get along with, and is great at figuring out the best way to teach a certain technique. After trying to teach myself for about a year taking lessons with Mark was the best thing for my guitar playing I could have done, 100% would recommend anyone to take lessons too!! 🙂

I’ve been having lessons with Mark for a few years now. I’m an ageing rocker turned folk/ blues acoustic with a bit of classical thrown in; he covers all bases for me. Mark is a very patient teacher and willing to indulge me with my musical tastes. But what I really like is that he doesn’t waste time showing off what a good player he is - and he is good! The focus is entirely on me and I always come away from a lesson feeling I have progressed.

I started acoustic lessons with Mark to improve my music reading skills which were fun and educational. I've migrated onto lead guitar now and its coming on great.
Mark is a patient, knowledgeable teacher, whose character puts you at ease from day one. There's no stuffy music lesson going on here. It's interesting and good fun in my weekly one hour lesson.
