When we placed our breakfast order before 10:30 we were told the wait would be 30-40 minutes, in the end our order arrived 1h and 10 minutes later. The server smirked when i told him we came in for breakfast not lunch. If the wait is that long, warn people, we would've gone someplace else!
The food itself was ok, but really hard to enjoy when you've waited that long for it.
Cleanliness of the place wasn't great either, sticky table, dust everywhere, was hoping it wouldn't land in anyone's food.
Overall disappointed.

Lovely bar/bistro serving good selection of beers and wines, coffee and cakes.
I had the Fish Goujon Sandwich which came with fries and mushy peas, it was well cooked and presented. Great value.

Lovely setting for brunch. Coffees were yummy and arrived in good time. I enjoyed the poached eggs with salmon. Would come back again 😄

Amazing great atmosphere. I used to know the building as a garage/wotkshop, many years ago. A fairly long wait for our food to be served. It tasted great. Cutlery needs to be more practical. Difficult to hold knife and fork, due to reverse tapering round handles.

Very friendly bar staff. Great coffee, with almond milk (there was oat milk too). And a massive, tasty carrot cake. They had Kriek cherry beer on tap too!! 😱❤️😱❤️

Lovely barmaid - fab drinks and great aesthetically! BUT it was like Aston on Trent’s Play group! Kids everywhere running, doing handstands! Parents oblivious! Their enjoyment crucial, managing their kids behaviou not good! Such a pity! A wonderful environment BUT not a Crèche! - the management needs to decide what they are trying to create! We would have spent the whole evening, but having worked with youngsters all day, we come out for calm and an adult environment?! We won’t be back sadly

Visited for the first time. First impression was pretty good. Nice inside and the lighting made it feel cosy and inviting on a wet autumn night. Drinks were a reasonable price, but that is where the plus side ends, I'm afraid! We sat upstairs as there was no room downstairs. The tables felt sticky and dirty. The place had so many kids in, it felt and sounded more like a nursery than a place for adults to enjoy a drink at the end of long week. Children almost broke a table while their parents happily ignored what was going off and a man from another table ended up helping them whilst the parents sat laughing about it.
Then there was THE dog.... Why oh why do such small places allow dogs in... It was bark, bark, bark.... Again not what you want after a long week at work trying to have a quiet pint and chat as a couple. Not only that, there were very delicious looking cookies and bakes open on the counter, where the dog proceeded to shake (and I re-iterate it was a WET autumn day) well... If you want to eat those after being open to wet dog shake.... Good luck to you. Absolute turn off. Won't be back. Sick of everywhere allowing this!!!! It is not ok, it is not hygienic, it's disgusting 🤢🤮
