We have been through Viv’s reactivity programme with our rescue dog, Bluey. We’ve been really happy with this process. Over the course of a couple of months, we’ve learnt how to read Bluey’s and other dogs body language, and to know when to give Bluey more space before he gets overwhelmed by nearby dogs. Because of this, his dog-reactivity isn’t anywhere near as bad as what it was when we started. Viv is a natural with dogs, she cares about their welfare and uses methods that get results, but it isn’t a quick fix. She worked at our dogs pace so he wasn’t rushed into situations he couldn’t handle. Our dog has had opportunities to socialise with calm dogs and we can see his confidence growing. We feel prepared to continue to support him. We’d recommend Viv to anyone with dog-reactive dogs.

Ive had three different dogs who I’ve taken to Viv over the years and she has been amazing with them all. She is a fabulous advocate for the dog, no matter what they are like and truly understands their behaviours and can read their body language. I’ve learnt so much from our sessions, my dogs have learnt so much and we have all had great fun. I will wholeheartedly recommend Viv to anyone and my dogs will continue their training with her throughout their lives because they enjoy it so much. Viv and her sessions (we use group and 1-1 sessions) are brilliant.

We rescued two Jack Russell’s from RSPCA in October 24 and were given the chance to work with Viv. The impact was so valuable that we have continued working with her for various behavioural and assimilation issues. Viv is outstanding. She’s extremely supportive, knowledgeable and her training techniques, resources are excellent. She’s an outstanding behavioural dog trainer, I’ve also learned a huge amount about how to interpret dog behaviour which is extremely important too. I am someone who has watched lots of dog training on TV etc and been seduced by certain ideas but I’ve learned that much of this is unrealistic, or worse encouraged the unwanted behaviour! We have a long way to go with our training but it’s absolutely worth the investment and I absolutely cannot give high enough praise for the way Viv approaches her work- She is the real dog whisperer and we are so grateful to have been introduced to her by the RSPCA.

Definitely recommend Viv she has worked wonders with myself and Suki. Suki didn’t have a good start in life. Was late in getting socialised but Viv has helped us through this. We will continue with our training but she has come on leaps and bounds and that is all with the help of Viv if I could give more stars I would.If you need any help with your 4 legged friend then Walkies dog behaviour and training is the place to go .
