I'm MD OMAR FARUK KHAN from Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have got in this university information from my teacher. So I want to know as my teacher said about the Leeds Trinity University to our Law class.

He was finished his LLM programs in SPECIALISED IN BUSINESS from there.
His name is -"Dr. A. S. M. Tariq Iqbal".
I hope to learn as a beautiful University University is situated in beautiful places. I also like this place, looks by Google Maps.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! I see why they don’t have any international students. They state on their website that ‘Leeds Trinity University is committed to recruiting students with talent and potential and who we feel will benefit greatly from their academic and non-academic experiences here. We treat every application on its own merits; we value highly the experience you illustrate in your personal statement.” That is a bold face lie! I was given a chance to give to give a new personal statement for my courses and before I was able to send it in, I was told I was rejected. They wouldn’t even give me the chance to submit my personal statement. Don’t advertise something on your website if you’re not going to follow through!! I will NOT recommend this to any of my friends who are international applicants.

drove 2h & 30 mins to their open day just for them to tell us at the entrance it was cancelled, I had received a message on the way everything was going as planned ... the roads were full of snow on the way there too, im sure you can imagine how frustrating this news was

Justifies why it is low ranked. Affordable tuition fees doesn't mean that they deliver high quality teaching standards or high quality students services. Administrative staff is lazy, untrained and high on weed. Not suitable for international students. Better look out fundamentally stronger universities.

My time at Leeds Trinity was very mixed.

I signed up for Criminology and Sociology with a Foundation Year in Social Science in 2019.

The course was anything but smooth sailing but had many positive moments that made it worthwhile.

During the course, the pandemic started, which the University seemed to handle quite well. The online learning was still engaging and tutors made sure to still hold one-to-ones. Everything was OK.

Then, second to third year, lecturers started leaving left right and centre. One left weeks before a final year assessment was due which left many of us panicked and worried. Again, I think the university did it's best. The replacement lecturers were still engaging and knowledgeable which is exactly what we needed. Some consistency would have been nice though.

Come to my final year and that's when I experienced a major issue that made me want to quit. I completed an ethics form for my dissertation - which was approved. I spent months planning my project (overseen by my supervisor) and creating all the documents needed etc. Only to find out - 4 months before the deadline - that my previous supervisor had made a mistake and shouldn't have approved it. Meaning, my hard work was for nothing, I couldn't do my initial project.

Now, the supervisor who incorrectly approved it had already left and I was given a new supervisor named Jess. If it wasn't for her and Joanna, I honestly think I'd have quit. They helped me apply for an extension so I'd have the time to rethink and rebuild my dissertation into something acceptable.

With Jess' guidance and encouragement I secured a First Class Honours, which made it all worthwhile. It wasn't without many tears, doubts and stress eating nights - but then again, I didn't expect University to be easy.

Positives:
- Campus is nice, never seemed too busy
- Most lecturers were great (especially Rob Hornsby, his lectures are so entertaining yet informative)
- Met friends for life

Negatives:
- Staff turnover for our course seemed very high
- Disorganised at times (my final year example)
- Compulsory placements which was difficult for those who already had commitments outside of university

Doesn’t feel like a university but more like a college. Not that many students either. Corridors are empty. No food places near the university. If you only eat halal be prepared to bring packed lunches with you.
