More than an ordinary language school 🤗☀️

I spent three weeks at Babel Fish language school in Newquay and highly recommend it🥳.
I felt like part of the Babel Fish family and not only like a student.
Becks, Tom and Alex (teachers) did a fantastic job. They tailored the classes to my level and provided me with amazing material. Professionalism, fun, actuality and much more helped me to improve my English.

The option with surfing or culture as part of the program besides school is a huge plus.

Also the host families they have are fantastic.
I will definitely come back ☀️

I had an amazing week going surfing and chilling on the beach with my friends.
The year 10 of my school was there for a trip to try out different sports and getting to know the culture and the way of living in Britain. I learnt to love surfing and I hope to do it again soon.
I also really enjoyed spending time with my host family, Mary and Mark. We had great conversations and got excellent food.
Also the evenings at the wave house were extra special, because I think it is a very lovely place!!

I recently had the pleasure of attending babel Fish languageschool , and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The combination of high-quality language instruction and top-notch sports training made this school truly stand out.

Babel Fish Language School did a great job in planning our sports week. They have organised many sports activities which were all really fun and exciting. The ones that we liked the most were Surfing, Stand-up paddling and Beachvolleyball.

Since we are from Austria, we don't have many opportunities to do those kinds of sports in the ocean, which is why we were really looking forward to trying those activities.
One positive surprise we got to experience was seeing seals whilst we were Stand-up paddling. Apart from that, we played funny games on the boards and explored small caves.

All in all the whole week was really cool and one of the best things we had ever experienced.

The Babel Fish Language School offers a large variety of different sport activities for young and old. Being on a school trip to Cornwall, the numerous offers like surfing, cricket, rugby and coasteering, made our journey unforgettable. To spend time in a "former" church watching the current football game or having a quiznight is a luxury well appreciated.
At times however, there had been some difficulties with organizing. For example, the starting times of the different sports were not implemented uniformly. That was a cause for long waiting times, which restricted our time with the host families dramatically.
But overall, it is safe to say that the Babel Fish Language School is a perfect oppurtunity to experience typically english sports and traditions to their fullest.

In short: It was a wonderful time with lovely people and learning English by having good classes and speaking in my free time.

I just wanted to go on holiday at the beach while also improving my English a bit. Babel Fish Language School was the perfect choice. I spent there 3 weeks. With a mixture of the two programs "surf" and "cornish tourism" I was able to get on a surfboard for the first time and explore the beautiful places in Cornwall. I also made some walks by myself on free afternoons.
In the mornings I had English classes. The the tachers were great and I felt comfortable. Because the school is quite small there were only two level classes, but the higher one was perfect for me, so no issues there.
There was even more on the program than surfing and exploring: having dinner together, pub quiz for the adults... It won't get boring in Newquay!
My host family was very funny and charming. In Newquay you have to walk a lot, but you will get used to it. Or maybe a friend will give you a lift.
I had some problems with my travel agency, they made false promises and requested too much money. But the whole team from Babel Fish worked hard to make a lot possible and tried to give us students the best time. My advice: book directly on the school homepage.

It was an amazing experience, I would love to go back one day. Thank you to all people from Babel Fish!

Absolutely worth the 5 stars!
I was joining Babel Fish for 4 weeks in June/July and I absolutely recommend it to everyone who is interested in improving their English level, exploring Cornwall, and having a memorable time.
The highly skilled teachers design the lessons with a lot of variety and interesting topics. Beside from grammar, the lessons are based on a lot of talking about subjects which match the interests of the students.
Babel Fish is a rather small school. There are lots of advantages. For example, the feeling of being like a family. All the students and teachers get to know each other, and the teachers are part of the spare time as well, because they plan activities in de evening and on weekends. A disadvantage could be, that there are not so many classes, which means, that there is not a separate class for each level. But the teachers try their best so that everyone can make progress.
Especially the two programs (study with surfing or Cornish tourism) ensure a lot of fun. The school is also a good pick for underage students because the teachers try hard to make sure that they are always safe and have a good time.
The host families are nice and charming. It is noticeable, that they are interested in meeting new people from all over the world.
I’ll definitely go back!!!
