Adam is a great tutor, super friendly and great at explaining German grammar and concepts. I've learned a lot in a short amount of time and Adam is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn German!

I have been learning French with Adam for nearly a year now. Initially I thought I could learn the language on my own using a language app. After a few lessons with Adam, I learnt that I won't have grasped and appreciated the uniqueness and richness of the language without having a language tutor. Taking lessons with Adam is very beneficial as I get to ask questions on word usage, composition and pronunciation, I also have many homework to do. Adam, merci beaucoup!

I've really enjoyed learning Italian with Adam. Before starting lessons with Adam, I started with an online language school with native Italian tutors, which was helpful but I had a hard time connecting Italian to English.
Adam changed that for me. He's brilliant at showing how Italian and English relate and explains the logic behind language rules in a way that native speakers might not realise.
Adam is great at simplifying the challenging aspects of Italian. He makes everything, from grammar to idiomatic expressions, very accessible. He's always patient and incredibly supportive, giving me a boost whenever I face difficult parts of the language.

I've been learning basic French for some time now with Adam and it's been great. Adam's very patient and is very good at going at the pace that suits you as the leaner. I particularly like the handouts he uses which gives a very useful structure to the sessions and also something to refer to in your own time. Adam is always on time, without fail, makes maximum use of the 1 hour session, and is very organised in booking holidays/time off. I would definitely recommend using Adam for learning French.

Thoroughly enjoying the French sessions with Adam. He is very easy to work with and is very informative about the language. The sessions are on Skype which is very easy to use. I wanted to learn with a friend and Adam is more than happy to tutor both of us together. It is a good idea to go over the learning outside of the sessions, so Adam provides worksheets that we try to fill in before the next session. If we have made a mistake he is never judgemental and gently corrects us at the same time as explaining what we have misunderstood. The pace of learning is just right with a small amount of challenge each session to assess our progress. We are expected to learn the grammar and then use this information to speak French, but we are not at the conversation stage yet so the French is just a few words at a time. Thank you Adam for a good start to our journey of becoming good French speakers, able to have a conversation with a French person.
