I went for my Gym activation today.
I was welcomed very nicely by the receptionist Katie Jack who helped me complete my direct debit details.
Nothing was too much trouble for her she was very efficient and so helpful.
My gym helper was Dave Cantley and he was brilliant. Being disabled I struggle to do things but he took the time to show me how each piece of equipment works, what muscles that it’s working.
He took time to show me how to adjust each machine to fit my needs, he found ways in which the equipment could be altered to work with my disabilities.
I would most certainly recommend this gym.
The equipment is new, clean and tidy. The dressing room are clean and tidy.
Their is also a disabled lift, which the receptionist will activate for you.
There is a coffee shop in reception for tea/coffee snacks to go.
Plenty of parking and disabled parking available.

Fair clean pools. But, absolutely freezing in the pool and even more freezing in the changing rooms! It was like being outside in the winter cold! Definitely put me off going again. Trying to get yourself and kids dressed when shivering is not our idea of fun.

The changing rooms, floors and swimming pool areas are really quite dirty. Many of the lockers in the changing rooms are broken, with doors hanging off. I made a complaint whilst there to be told by the lifeguard that he cleans it and tries his best! Not his fault, but it is obvious they do not employ any professional cleaning company.

Great gym, great staff, great facilities however if you need to contact DCLT I'd recommend Freddy Krueger giving a prostate check as this would be less stressful and painful

Booked online said swim for all got there the little pool was closed because of swimming lessons never stated this on the website so my partner and son didn't even get chance to get in the pool as he is scared of the main pool the lady on reception was very polite and offered a refund but would take 5-7 days

Really really bad gym, I've only been because I was visiting my friend in the area but after 5 minutes I've left to go back to adwick. The cross trainers aren't proper cross trainers, the stride would be more suited to a child and it's so small in the gym there's not a lot else to use that isn't already in use. The female changing rooms are again small, there's only one toilet with a broken toilet seat so not very good to use, sanitary bin was full and the changing rooms weren't clean. I won't be coming back, even if I am in the area because it's just not useable for me.
