We're so lucky to have such a proactive local library - there are different clubs and activities almost every day, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. No matter who you are, you'll always receive the warmest welcome. We visit every Saturday morning, and it's lovely to see younger children engaging in Lego club mixing with much older people who are there for chess club. There aren't many truly multi-generational spaces left, and certainly not that are completely free to access. Ours is a gem and a credit to the town.

A well managed and caring community hub. The library may be small in size but it makes up for it with a large range of activities for all ages and amazing staff who greet everyone as they walk in and go to great efforts to help you find what you’re after. It’s also a clean and friendly environment that you find yourself wanting to go back to.

Popular town library open everyday except Sundays. It offers books, talking books, children’s DVDs, newspapers and magazines, computers with printing and scanning, WiFi, photocopier, fax service, local studies and family history service. For the younger reader, songs and rhymes for 0-2 year olds and parents and carers, session for 2-4 year olds and their parents and carers, a teen reading group, free computer and tablet drop-in help sessions for people aged 50 plus. A family history society operates from here.

I really miss going into the library and just browsing. Looking forward to the day that the restrictions are lifted. I miss chatting to the Staff and buying them biscuits to go with their cups of tea.
