Edit:
Well the 3 year old mentioned in my last review (below) is now 5, and her little brother is about to turn 3, so we've been visiting for 2 years. The kids love it, and I love that they're reading more 🙂 I've also borrowed books myself through my own card. There's a small charge for adults to request books from the other associated libraries, which is fair enough considering they're taking the time and other resources to find them, ship to the requested collection library, and back again. Can't fault the library and staff 🙂

Original review:
Recently started taking my 3 year old, great to have such a wonderful resource close by, and easy to tag on a visit to the nearby park too. Due to the library visits she's suddenly had a interest in longer books and early chapter books which is great! The library has free WiFi, seats and a sit in wooden train in the kids section and the reservation process works brilliantly from the online catalogue. Our thanks to the library staff!!

Needed to kill some time while my car was being fixed so went in here for an hour. Used to be a regular when the kids were young. Found a nice book on local history and read that for an hour. Reasonable range of books, a few lee child ones which I enjoy and it was warm, quiet and comfortable 🙂

Small but perfectly formed library. Keen helpful staff, who always seem happy to help.
The extra events that they host, storytime and rhyme time are great fun, the specials such as the Star Wars event are even better!
Has all the usual things books, plus computers (free to use), audio books and DVDs to hire.
There's even a post office in the same building.

The staff have always been very helpful and friendly and because the building is shared with the post office, you can still return books when the library is closed, during post office hours.

Today (six years later), I went to collect my "reservation pending" and it was not there. But the excellent librarian sorted it out on the spot - brilliant service!
