Battersea Spanish is a delightful venue for those eager to immerse themselves in Spanish language and Latin dance. What truly sets this place apart is its warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with the genuine kindness of the people. While the salsa class could use a bit of fine-tuning, the spaciousness of the venue allows for comfortable movement and learning. Although a few items were missing from the menu, the passion and dedication evident in the upkeep of the establishment overshadow any minor shortcomings. Battersea Spanish is more than just a restaurant; it's a place infused with love and a genuine desire to share the richness of Spanish culture. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic experience 👌

I took my Y10 students to Battersea Spanish and it was a good experience where they were able to become waiters and custormers during a Role Play, they learnt a bit about Argentina's culture and they also got to watch a movie. The bad thing was that the food was £9.50 and the students were only given two spoons of Paella, which wasn't enough for everyone.

Crispin and his team hosted a wedding party for us and it was amazing! The bar staff were so flexible and accommodating, good humoured and cheerful all afternoon and evening. The food was fantastic too. They catered for about 90 of us with Paella and tapas. The venue is so flexible with an outside space as well as a lovely bar area and a separate room where we had speeches and showed a short film. They made a pleasant occasion even more lovely! Thank you so much. What a day!!

Super fun atmosphere to take Spanish classes. You can grab a drink before heading up to your class and enjoy! If you're new to London, this is a great way to get out and make some new friends. Only critique is that the classes are a little bit pricey, but there are opportunities for discounts around the right time of year and they also make the textbook available to you online to save you some money. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend Battersea Spanish! It's such a cool and unique place and is soo much more than a language school. It has a lovely atmosphere and learning facilities are great. It also has a fab tapas wine and food bar, so you can take a glass of wine into class with you or relax there before or after class. All my teachers so far have been exceptional and always encouraging. I've been going there for a year now and I'm trying to get my partner to join too! Don't hesitate - whatever your motivations are!

I can't speak more highly of Battersea Spanish. I discovered it when I saw their Latin Fitness classes advertised summer 2021 and was eager to get fit and tone up. I'm now doing one of their beginners' Spanish classes. You always get a warm welcome at Battersea Spanish whether it's from the teachers and bar staff, other students. It's a really cosy venue with a very supportive environment whether you're dancing or learning Spanish. The language courses are well structured and lots of fun - plenty of opportunities to practice Spanish outside of class too - games, books you can borrow, quiz and film nights, and conversation evenings. It's a place you can easily make new friends - people actually talk to each other and strike up conversations. For me it feels like a home from home.

I have been practising flamenco at Battersea Spanish for almost 6 years and am a big fan of their work.

Flamenco classes are amazing, Carmen the teacher is an incredible dancer and choreographer. I haven't tried other flamenco schools in London but I am certain this is the best one having done 20+ years of professional classes in 3 different countries.

And the venue and community in itself is very special. A hidden gem in Battersea, will make anyone feel like they have travelled somewhere warm and fun.

Definitely recommend the classes, the tapas and all of the wonderful events.

Short of actually going to Spain, this is the place to study Spanish in London.
If you love Hispanic culture - and what’s not to love Battersea Spanish has it in spades. So a great place to bring the language and culture to life. Guided by native speakers from Spain and Latin America. So much better than looking at apps or you tube!
