I have attended this college since 2022 and still a student here progressing into my second year, my main concern with the college is that it seems very reserved making friends seems to be really difficult since im not a local to the college many people just seem to go home and i end up being stuck around until 4:20, not to mention being from derby also makes it mor difficult from my experience. The teachers are really good and learning support is brilliant overall its a good college but believe that more support could be offered for those who find it difficult to make friends.

I honestly love being at this college. It is a fantastic place to work! The study areas are quiet and enjoyable, the teachers are really skilled and work very hard to help the students, and the bus journey to college is very pleasant. There is a collaborative and hard working atmosphere. Whilst there is a fair amount of independent study and hard work I have found it to be a wonderful intellectual challenge, and teachers are always happy to help if you need a hand! The clubs and societies are really great too, I am a part of the CU and it is a fantastic place to relax and have fun during a busy day. I would highly recommend going to Bilborough College.

The Teachers are Great but everything is brought down when you realize that the College does not support students in any form, their understanding of mental health is non-existing especially within staff to the point where it's a gamble to talk to your teacher about your mental health or any disabilities.

This college is honestly stressful and many more exist better than this one for anyone to consider going to.

Very poor experience for our son, which meant that he left within the first term. Official complaint sumbitted. They are more concerned about attendance figures than caring for students. Staff can't be bothered to turn up to teach, which means the students don't get their attendance mark. Cover teachers lack the skills and knowledge to teach specialist subjects. Several people I have spoken to have experienced similar things.

Edited to add: the official complaint was not dealt with properly by the college. Hugely disappointing.

The staff are amazing and it's a great learning environment. Being at Bilborough has definitely improved my independent learning and motivation. Going into year 12, everyone was so friendly and this year staff have been very supportive during the university application process.

The staff at Bilborough are all very supportive. It's a welcoming environment and makes a nice change from school where it can often feel as though you are being treated as a child rather than an equal. The college has been especially helpful during lockdown, offering online classes and just generally keeping all the students in the loop. Very student focused and will help you to be the best that you can be!!

OK college, it's just a more confusing school it can't be anything better than just OK can it? Went here for a brief 5 or 6 days LMAOO, realised college was NOT for me. The head is pompous as hell & the teachers are verrryyy strange. The college is dirty, looks like it hasn't been cleaned for 3.5 years. However I'm glad I experienced this college, it made me realize that I really hate people, a school setting & Waking up before 10:40 AM. Truly a life lesson.
