Learning was good until I had to defend myself in a fight got kicked outta because it was my word against his and no camera evidence in the classroom and no teachers were around to see it as soon as you make one mistake they don’t like them they will kick you out

Superb meals and service, last night was 4 courses all superbly prepared and served eloquently. Fully recommend for taste of proper food expertly cooked ,well done level 6 teachers ,students and professionals. Mike and Linda

Absolutely first rate college and further/higher education organisation.

I've come here for further education on 3 separate occasions over the last 15 years, and have always found it to be an excellent example of what a college should be.

If you're considering taking a course here, you won't be disappointed. Come and visit during an open day if you're undecided!

I could go on, but the college advertises its facilities and services very well.

I enrolled to an adult short course, every Thursday evening for 10 weeks. I had to miss the first week due to being away, and while I was away I received the details for my student log in from the admin team. When I got back I tried to log in, but was unable to. I replied to the email asking for help - but haven't received a reply. I then emailed the curriculum manager to see if there was anything I needed to bring to my first week of the course as I was unable to log in to find out what I missed in the first week. They responded to tell me the course wasn't able to go ahead due to low numbers. Which is disappointing news. But what is more disappointing is the fact I hadn't been notified of the cancellation of the course by the college itself, it seems the others who were also enrolled were informed, but not me. I have had an Acces to HE course cancelled at a different provider, and was informed of its cancellation by the enrollment team.

And because the process of getting a refund for the course requires logging into my student account - which I cannot access - I am now in limbo trying to get my money back.

The only good thing about this experience is the curriculum manager who has been very helpful in all my corrospondence with them, and now is trying to help me get a refund despite the fact I'm pretty sure its not their job to do so.

Absolutely terrible.
Called to find out information about functional skills maths, and was just told to go in.
Unfortunately I work a full time job, at unsociable hours.
I shouldn’t have to take a day off to go and speak to a tutor. The information should be readily available by staff to give the correct information as to not waste time!
Obviously they do this so that they can get a wave of people going to enrolment but only about 60% of those waves actually enrol due to time wasted on misinformation or there lack of. 👍
Educate your staff considering you’re an educational establishment. Your staff should also be up to parr.
