We all came here for a birthday celebration; portions were really big, we were very impressed. My steak was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. Everyone else cleared their plates and was impressed.

Waitress was lovely and made a great cocktail. She also offered to bring out our cake with a candle and plates so we could have some there and then. This was a nice touch and we did not even need to ask. It was quiet when we were there but was midweek but we will definitely come again and try some new dishes. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Unbelievable Value - Best Portuguese Food in Hull!

Honestly, Brasa is the best Portuguese restaurant in Hull, hands down. Maybe even in all of Yorkshire!

My mates and I went the other night and we were blown away. The food was incredible, proper tasty and the prices were surprisingly decent - you get a lot of bang for your buck!

They have all the classic Portuguese dishes you'd expect, and the grilled meats are to die for! Even my veggie mate found loads to eat. Oh, and the beers are ice cold, which is perfect after a long day. 😉🍺

The staff were super friendly and the whole place has a really nice vibe. It's perfect for a date night, a catch-up with friends, or even a family dinner. We are going to have a meeting there with the lads I work with as well….

We reckon it's spot on for a proper knees up, too! We'll definitely be back, probably every month! Don't miss out on this place!"

I have been here 4 times now, and every time the food and service has been exemplary!

The restaurant really cares about customers' dietary preferences as well, and serve the most delicious vegan dishes including vegan churros! The seafood and meat dishes, I've heard from my friends, are also just as perfect and flavoursome.

The white sangria was also fantastic.

Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone, the menu and friendly atmosphere will be a delight to all that visit!

Really lovely meal, flavours were really good. The staff were friendly and it was really nice and relaxing in there. I had the pork with punched baby potatoes and rice. All of it was super tasty. Plenty of gluten free options and they are capable of catering to other dietary requirements.

We went to celebrate a birthday. The team were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Helped with choices of meals and wine and the food was delicious !! The chef is very talented, the prawns were amazing and the steak was wonderful ! We thought the meal was good value and we will certainly be back. Our waitress was an absolute credit to you, looked after us really well, had a few laughs and conversations with us and was asking if we enjoyed everything. She also helped with a surprise birthday cake. I am sorry I didn’t catch the name but hopefully you can work it out from what I have said. We were happy to pay the service charge and left a decent tip too because we were so happy. Thanks again and see you soon.

Amazing food, friendly staff that will go the extra mile, my husband being from Porto said the Francesinha was amazing the best he has eat in the Uk. Well worth the price, second time for us and will definitly continue to travel 1hr for the amazing food.
