My 3 kids have attended CFBL over the 10 last years. Where to start? This school is unique. The only truly bilingual school in London. The atmosphere is familial, with a real focus on children well being. Staff is open minded and always available to discuss parents concerns. My children wouldn’t be who they are without CFBL!

I cannot stress enough what an amazing school CFBL is! My two daughters have been at CFBL for almost 8 years now, and in this time, the school has gone from strength to strength. There are so many reasons why we love it: it's truly bilingual education, its outstanding academic level, its incredibly nurturing and inclusive environment. Ultimately, what best encapsulates it is the fact that my girls just love going to school every day, which to me says it all!

Having spent almost 10 years there, I can safely say that this is a lovely school, especially if one intends to remain there for a while. By the end of my stay, I really sensed a strong, friendly connection between staff and students. From everyone knowing each other by names to some members joining in with some playground games. Some... No, all of my favourite teachers work there. They make a massive effort to make events fun, and the clubs are extremely enjoyable. Communication between the students and teachers is easy and people are understanding.
There were some hiccups, of course, but that was more down to me than the school, so I shall not deduce points on that front. I also noted that once you're used to the system at CFBL (Secondary, I don't know about primary.) moving over to Wembley is incredibly easy thanks to its similarities.
I thank all members for such a unique experience.

We applied for our son for petite section in 2020 for entry in sept 2022 and have never received any update or answer from them even after chasing. We have been receiving updates starting from May 2022 saying that our son is still on the waiting list to finally say that he has not been accepted (After 2 years of wait !) and that we need to reapply for Moyenne section entry 2023 which we did. They opened registrations for sept 2023 on 4th of october at 12 - we were literally on the website and registered him on that day at 12:15. We AGAIN received a rejection email in November. This is unbelievable and beyond my understanding ! surely not all the places are taken by priority from others - our son is also French and deserves the french education we wanted for him , he also lives close to the school and has been applying amongst the first. The admission process is not transparent at all.

We exchanged emails with Aurore regarding our daughter's registration for the school starting 2 years in advance. It usually take weeks sometimes months of chasing to get an email reply. Also, we were given fause expectation that 'we were on the very top of the waiting list'. Eventually we were told that our daughter would not be able to join the school in the year we prefered. 2 years of waiting, chasing emails and communication, fause hope, and we had to look for another school with only 6months' notice!

Have been told it was an outstanding school so I have had very high expectation. However, their school staff never replied to our emails or called back even they promised us they would on several occasions. I doubt the communication between teachers and parents would be good.

I attended this school from around 2011-2013 and I thought that it was probably worth writing a review as it was the absolute worst experience I could have asked for and I don't want others to find themselves in the same position. I came to the school with difficulty writing in French and they did nothing but put me down, treat me like an idiot when I obviously needed help. The head of the school at the time was a liar and promised me help, but instead just made things worse for me. The CPE was violent and rude towards students and I remember one occasion where he grabbed a student by the collar and smashed him into a locker because he was whistling in the halls and exclaimed "don't you ever whistle in my halls again". The school was badly built and we had an instance where a lamp fell on a student's head whilst we were working on computers. Everyone I knew hated CFBL and I found myself in tears every time I had to get on the train to go to school in the morning. After trying, time and time again to make it work for me I left halfway through me second year. Truly a horrible school, do yourself a favour and don't send your children to a school where they will be experiencing panic attacks in the halls. Still angry to this day.

An amazing school: my kids have attended for more than 10 years and CFBL is an integral part of their development.
