Such beautiful scenery. Takes your breath away. You didn't have to go right up to the top to see this scenery,which is good because I'm unable to climb too far. Just looking up and seeing this beautiful scene above you. Would definitely recommend a visit . You would miss out on some stunning scenery if you didn't go.

Amazing day out, lots to see and do, nice walks and some real history. Great for all the family but make sure you can walk up 360+ steps up Jacobs ladder. Fantastic views if you can make it up.

Incredible caves. It took millions of years to form and now we get to enjoy them.

Enjoyed a splendid talk on creating fire at the Museum too.

Has a 3 mile walk over the hill around the george. We didn't do it this time, but hopefully next time.

Two stars based on cost. A winter visit cost £42 for single dad and 7 year old son. The cafe was obseanly expensive too. I get it in peak season but really in winter why not offer free parking and half price. So many more of us on tight budgets would make the off season trips. The caves were good but I did prefer more natural beauty

This place is impressive from a geographical eye. They're is a super cute shopping area and the Greek restaurant Souvlike is authentic Greek food.

We went on a weekday out of the school holidays and it was not busy at all. The caves were really impressive, fascinating formations, interesting history. We walked up jacobs ladder and the tower, good views all round. It was a bit pricey at £24 but they did do an NHS discount. Lovely little shops, cafes and street to walk down outside.

It was closed. Yes, on arrival most of the tourist traps of cheese, cider and fluffy toys were open, but the caves were closed.
Then to cap it all, there are two parking charges, 9:00am to 9:00pm £6. Or 3pm to 9pm, £4. Toilets had seen better days, think local council are taking the perverbial! However, had a pleasant walk around, saw some goats, lots of rushing water, very friendly staff in shops.

Not cheap but definitely worth the price. Gough cave is amazing with lots of history and knowledge which we did first. Cox's cave is pretty but not as well presented and linked to Jacob's ladder. As my crew weren't up for the walk we should have done Cox's first. The local shops and fooderies were all very good and not silly prices, it's was raining so it was not busy and I would say go for a rainy day for a chilled out experience. I can only believe on a sunny day it would be heaving chaotic and difficult to park. What ever your preference definitely takes a day out to enjoy yourselves.
