We used Chelsea and Fulham Tutors for our daughter's Maths A levels and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. We had two different Maths tutors over a period of time; both of them came to our house and were always punctual and professional. Our daughter said they were very good at focusing on exactly what she needed help with. We used them again for help with Oxford University interviews (this time virtually) and again, the tutor was extremely knowledgeable and informed about that process. Dealing with Alison was very easy and smooth, and she always had good advice. Would definitely recommend Chelsea and Fulham Tutors.

We hired a face to face Math tutor and an English tutor through C&F Tutors in July-Nov 2023 and didn't have a great experience with either.

The Math tutor in particular was:
- unreliable (didn't show up for the very first lesson; changed lesson day and time several times throughout)
- didn't set homework to reinforce what he taught
- didn't share constructive feedback to us the parents so we could help in-between lessons
- cancelled the lessons altogether three weeks before the exam

The English tutor was a decent person and reliable but certainly not 11+ standard which was evident compared to the tutor we replaced him with (new tutor also cheaper). Again there was no homework and no feedback on his weaknesses for us to work on in-between lessons to help pass the exam.

During the period there was no check in from the C&F agency on progress and we called ourselves to report the issues 4 months in however the tutors didn't improve or seem to take on board the feedback.

Save your money and find a company/tutor that has decent reviews. Compared to the quality we saw from our child's peers tutors, who were clearly trained on how to help a child through the 11+ process, I wouldn't recommend using a C&F tutor.
