It’s a small hospital but clean and staff were friendly. TV in waiting room. Parking is cheap and straightforward, you take a ticket from entry barrier and pay at paystation in reception when ready then have 15 mins to get to exit barrier where you put your validated ticket and exit. Coins/card accepted

First time visit to Chester le Street - having not long moved to the area. Hospital and Staff where brilliant.
Not Hospitals responsibility but road signage for directions sadly lacking.
Fortunately had sat nav and had studied map but for those without, yes there are some old school, reliant on roadside signs, it would be difficult to locate.

I don't know why they arrange appointments to take blood samples here when they need to be sent to durham and due to how long they take, they clot and a 2 year old child has to be re-traumatised and get the same blood test done multiple times. Absolutely atrocious

Just sat in the waiting room waiting for my mam to have an x-ray. And the lady Dianne who works here is just a beautiful human being, listening to the way she talks to and helps every single patient. I wish everyone at the NHS had the same care for their patients as she does.
