This morning, I had the incredible opportunity to enjoy a private tour of Christ Church College, thanks to Alex Ellis, a geography student at the college. I highly recommend seeking him out for a tour.

Alex guided us through the college, showing us the famous steps featured in the first Harry Potter movie before leading us into the magnificent dining hall. It was phenomenal to witness where students dine—500 years of history in one room, with ketchup and mayonnaise dispensers providing a rather amusing contrast!

We also explored the cathedral, where we had the privilege of hearing the organ being played—likely a rehearsal for the morning service at 11:05.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I cannot recommend Alex enough for a tour of Christ Church College.

This place is probably known more for the Harry Potter connection, but the rest of the place it amazing as well. The main hall was the inspiration for the great hall in Harry Potter, but I really like the Alice in Wonderland cindy

In addition to the most famous canteen as the setting for Harry Potter, the entire Christ Church College is full of beautiful buildings and historical sites. You can spend an entire afternoon here listening to the tour guide. Also, please note that not all areas are open all year round. If not, you can only check the actual opening conditions on the guide machine. I hope everyone can visit here when all areas are open.

Christ Church College served as filming locations for various aspects of the films, including Bodley Staircase and the college cloisters, and the dining hall. The dining hall was just gorgeous. And it is currently still being used by the students! Audio guide comes with the ticket purchased. A place of history and significance. 5 stars

Ticketed self guide tour which was nice for kids to follow. My son loved where harry potter shotted.
Ticket has time slot but they accepted even we were late.🙏

You are literally transported to Hogwarts as almost all the films were filmed there.
The Church itself is spectacular. The ticket is included with an autoguide, which is quite a good tool if you’re kind on History!!!
