Lovely place. We attended a party held in the hall. An original church which has been extended and offers a lot of extra uses. I noticed a lot of people attending education classes and sitting in a lovely large room with seating while waiting for their kids to come out of classes. The church itself seems to be used a lot and appears popular, even a drum kit set up. The hall was large and airy plus the advantage of a fully fitted kitchen.

Went to an aunt funeral it not as big as i taught it will be.
The actual church but the back part of the church is huge had a nice little kitchen. And very clean.

Venue nice for hiring but if I could give them no stars I would for customer service.

I adhered to their policy, hall etc was left clean and secure as advised. Was also advised to place keys and a deposit return form in a box outside their building.
Advised deposits take 5-10 days to be returned which had now surpassed by 8 days.

Emailed Magda who first advised me to fill form which I advised I did already, then advised after further investigation they don't have the key.

Went to the office the next day and was advised by Magda they have the key however someone may have accidently shredded my deposit return form. Had to sign form again.

Asked Magda can I have my £100 deposit returned to me today, was advised the treasurer deals with payments, then asked if I could speak with the treasurer as my account is in an unarranged over draft, because of their error as I should have received my deposit back.

Magda then proceeded to shrug her shoulders with a nonchalant attitude. I was left totally flabbergasted and upset as no concern was given to me for their incompetence.
Still awaiting a given date and payment not in my account.

This is suppose to be a Church shame on you.

Would never ever get my service again and will inform others not to use them.

The Tuesday morning baby and toddler group is simply wonderful. The helpers are amazing and do everything they can to make both children and adults feel truly welcome. The music and singing session at the end is also great and the children really join in with earnest. Thank you for all you do for others. God bless xx

This church provides lots of support for the local community. You can hire rooms for various events. They also run groups, eg. Weekly Baby & Toddler groups and monthly Bereavement support groups, held on the last Monday of the month. The Bereavement group is free and they also provide a light cold lunch. You can also find information about the Purley Food Hub on their website.
The people who work there are very friendly, caring and supportive. Lisa, the Curate is very helpful if you need to find out more about the Church in general.
