I cannot recommend Accent Softening for Business enough! Mark, the tutor, was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful, making everyone feel comfortable from day one. What truly stood out was how he tailored the class to each student's specific needs and challenges, ensuring we all made real progress.

The sessions were not only effective but also so much fun! Mark’s engaging teaching style and the supportive atmosphere made these classes the highlight of my week. I always looked forward to attending and walked away feeling more confident in my speech.

I completed the How to Draw course for beginners and absolutely recommend it. It was absorbing, informative, challenging and super fun as each week we explored different mediums - from pencil drawing to charcoal, pastel, Conte crayon, and pen and ink.
Dominic is a wonderful tutor - very knowledgeable, helpful, engaging, supportive, encouraging and with a great sense of humour.
I am planning to take other art courses at the City Academy to continue learning.

Attended the Acting Foundation intensive (5 day) course in January 2025. It was fantastic, varied, fun and informative.

Mark is an excellent teacher; he was very warm and welcoming, and gave each student the attention they needed such that no comment or question went unanswered, and all concepts and instructions for acting were well explained.

I found Rowland's musical theatre sessions to be so much fun and really helpful in warming up and using my voice! I loved the improv session with Warren - again lots of fun and freedom to be creative without judgement, and Linn's sessions on Meisner were really interesting and informative!

I'm in the middle of a 5-day musical theater intensive class. The City Academy experience has been so joyful to my heart. And I wish my stay was longer so I could continue studying here. Industry professionals as instructors, safe and clean facilities were easy to get to, and lots of studios for classes. I'm going to have to figure out how to come back for 2025.

Amazing environment with lots of different creatives to learn from. I had an amazing time being there, location is also perfect ! Did the Screen Acting Intensive and our teachers Darren, Mark, Toby and Victoria were absolutely amazing. Would come back anytime !!!!!

I have just finished a drawing for beginners course with Sheila, and I am so pleased with the experience. Sheila is a great artist and a great teacher, and her classes were always engaging and fun. I can't wait to do another class with her, I might even give watercolour a go! I'm also currently doing an improvers course with Tim, and I am loving this one too, his enthusiasm is contagious!

Love the salsa classes at City Academy, I’ve been going for a few months and I’ve learnt so much. All the teachers are wonderful and the pace is designed to stretch you a little bit but keep you comfortable at the same time.
