I have been blessed to do the level 2 professional cookery course at the college.

At the age of 57 and having been on many work related courses over the years, I can honestly say that the instructors Tracey Walker and Angelo Coglan are the finest imparters of knowledge I have known. Their manner is inclusive, warm, friendly, informative and relevant.

It has been a sheer delight to take part in this course and I shall miss it once it ends.
Anyone with any reservations about further education should put them to one side and enrol on the cookery courses immediately.

Tracey and Angelo are huge assets to the college and great ambassadors to cookery.

Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic support for my son after leaving another college nearby (which I won't mention, because I don't want to advertise them) I can't recommend Derwentside College enough, everyone is so supportive and super friendly! Especially Angelo, Tracy & my friend Jan! Thank you 😊

Right we will take it from the top I have nothing nice to say about my experience at this college the head to the course didn't understand that people have a right of there own opinion and when when spoken down to like lesser being I was well within my right to take five minutes to cool off and de-escalate the situation only to be told I was no longer welcome and was forced to take a course at new college Durham to which I'm grateful for doing as they have better mannered staff who accept it when they are in wrong not call the person a heavy handed bully and make up lies to justify their actions

Glad what happened did happen I was educated on higher level where I ended up and don't think I'd recommend derwentside college to anyone

But then again that's only my opinion

An average experience for my sons course. Today is results day and no tutors in to submit results therefore currently my son has lost his university place. Outrageous

Car park slightly small for the footfall numbers at the College but apart from that nice and bright reception area.

Lots of information on display for learners.

this college is no good for any one who wants to further their self unless you just left school and don't have a clue about the subject. for older people wanting to further their self use a different college as these will only hold you back their in no rush to do any thing and go at the slowest students pace so your sat bored and don't learn a thing avoid at all ost
