Strongly recommended. I can’t express enough how privileged I am to have DoughDough teach my two daughters aged 9, 7. Nicole is an exceptional teacher, she is excellent across all aspects, kind, patient, enthusiastic, fun and supportive. My daughters attended her lessons since 4 years old, you can imagine kid at that young age can struggle and gets bored easily, however Nicole manages to make the lessons so entertaining through fun learning and teaching, plenty of games, interactive teaching, crafting, story telling and video to show how the Chinese words were formed. From doing this, it helps them to build concrete phonic and vocabulary foundation, this knowledge stays naturally until now. I am so proud of their progress and the number of characters they know. They have always enjoyed the Chinese lessons and it’s like a super fun club they look forward to each weekend. Thank you DoughDough and Nicole, your hard work and passion pay off 🙂

My daughter has been learning Chinese with Nicole since 3 years ago and we would never wanna change. Nicole is a brilliant teacher. Her classes were well structured, fun and interactive. What I love most was that they were pitched at absolutely the right level for my daughter, enough to challenge her but without compromising the fun.

Nicole is a fantastic Mandarin teacher! Neither of us are Mandarin speaking so when we moved back to the UK from Singapore, we wanted to try keep up what our son had learnt from his bi-lingual nursery. That was 5 years ago and we feel so lucky we found Nicole on a local forum. She has seen him through his toddler years to now Y3 at school, constantly creating and exploring new fun and age appropriate ways to teach him. She always knows what his latest ‘obsessions’ are and cleverly weaves them into lessons to keep him engaged. We’ve had a mix of face-to-face group and individual lessons and of course more recently zoom classes. I’ve been amazed how well zoom has worked and we may even for logistics continue some lessons on zoom longer term. Nicole is super lovely and her artistic background shines through in the craft and artistic influence in her classes. This works well for my ninja, lego, paper airplane obsessed 8 year old. Nicole is really fun and creative, flexible to children’s learning styles and also manages them gently if messing about (like my son!). Also love the Chinese learning materials she makes and sells on her website. Total 5 stars from me!

Dough Dough’s class is the best mandarin class we ever had & we will stick with her as long as we can!
The founder of dough dough- Nico had great teaching experience in primary school and she well combined her amazing visual art & technology skill from her formal work in advertising industry- both practical and professional! We adore of her hard working of preparation teaching material, extremely patient & her warm personality in the class. Strongly recommend!
