The proof of how good Jo is, is definitely in the end result. She tutored my son a number of years ago - in primary school he was considered to be working "below age related expectations". This was a boy with dyslexia but a high assessed IQ functioning in some areas at the level of a 14 year old (he was 8!). We worked with Jo & by the dreaded year 6 SATS he exceeded age related expectations. Fast forward to GCSEs & he's just got a 7 in his English literature! Jo is a magician. She makes learning so much fun the child doesn't notice the work they're putting in. My boy wrote an extended creative writing piece with her that evolved into a several chapter book!
