If I could give ten starts I would!
Both my children have lessons with the glorious Greta. Both children are very different and love their lessons equally! My eldest has been having lessons with Greta for 1.5 years - at 13 with moods up and down and having recently been diagnosed with autism, the fact she comes out of each lesson on top of the world, is high accolade! She completely loves her time with her. She isn't interested in grading, but loves music, so Greta always works in collaboration with her to play something she really enjoys - from her often rather diverse musical taste! Greta tailors the lessons individually to the learning style and requirements of each child. My youngest also can't wait for his time with Greta - she's a real ray of sunshine. Being more structured in his learning style, he is keen to progress in stages up the grading ranks. At 9, there is no pressure put on him at all, only encouragement and fun. He can't wait to practice in the mornings and then show his skills off! The dinosaur reward stickers help too! I cannot recommend piano lessons with Greta enough. She's the very best.

I’ve been taking lessons with Greta at Gasser Music Studio for about four years and she is an fantastic piano teacher. She really cares about her students progress and she pretty much knows everything about music theory. The structure of her lessons covers a lot of different areas, scales, sight reading, theory and pieces that are relevant to you, whether you are studying for an exam or playing for fun (like I am). I think doing a bit of each and always having a challenge really improves your piano playing in the end. Lastly I really appreciate that Greta has helped me progress with playing pieces that I am interested in playing, as I know some other teachers will teach from a certain curriculum / series of books and aren’t that flexible. Also just a note that I am an older student (don’t want to say my age 😃) and have continued on with online lessons at Gasser Music Studio after I left Manchester and the online lessons are just as good as in person.

Greta is absolutely awesome. Very accommodating, we’ve had to change slots a few times due to my daughter’s other commitments and Greta always makes it fit even to the point of adding her non working day which was great as at the time my daughter said she didn’t want to continue to learn if Greta wasn’t going to be her teacher.
The sessions are constructive and enjoyable. There are at least 3 concerts in a year for the students to showcase their hard work and it’s just so beautiful to see the progress made, not just with my daughter but with all the other students- children and adults.

Before my daughter began her piano learning journey, we tried trial lessons with various teachers. Greta stood out as her preferred instructor, despite Gasser Music Studio being the farthest location (an hour drive from home). Trusting my daughter's choice has been rewarding; Greta's boundless patience and enthusiasm ensure a joyful and fun learning process for her students. Greta's ability to tailor her lessons to our daughter's age and learning style is truly impressive too, as this has proven success in helping my daughter to pass her exam with flying colours. Greta is a talented piano teacher and mentor. She has taught our daughter for many years and over that time we have watched her play some beautiful pieces on the piano. Apart from progressing through the grades, perhaps even more important, Greta’s enthusiasm and approach has inspired our daughter to really enjoy and feel the music she plays which is amazing. You can always spot one of Greta’s students when they play in public because they are the ones full of confidence with a smile on their face!

Greta constantly thinks about the whole journey and balances just the right level of challenge with encouragement. We would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

If you are an older beginner like me, you could not wish for a more positive person to coax, support, and when you need it, sometimes push you along your learning journey!
