This place should be closed.
its not fit for purpose. The staff have no regard to legally binding and enforceable ehcps,
Ehcp reviews are held without the young person present.
safe guarding is inadequate and many of the staff inappropriate (they take vulnerable young people around charity shops for personal gain to fill their online shops under the disguse of being taught independent living skills )
Do not send your send young person to this college.

It caters for a lot of aspects with teaching on a number of subjects. It also has its own hairdressing/beauty salon where paying customers come in for treatments. It has an amazing Art & Design department with a gallery to show off fashions and paintings. Lots of part time courses as well

Really lovely college. I was welcomed warmly at reception when starting an evening Art course.
The tutor is kind, approachable and professional. The college is easy to contact. It's spacious , clean and warm

I studied fine art level 3 at the college and was completely disappointed. The course was childish and boring. After speaking about it to my tutors several times; nothing was done about it. On top of that, I was bullied by students in my class. However, because it was mostly online; the teachers claimed they couldn't do anything about it. The only advice I got from them was to ignore it all.
After deciding to drop out of my first year of the course; the college hasn't bothered to contact me or my parents.
A LOT of improving needs to be done.

My daughter decided to go to this college to study "fine art", believe me, there was nothing fine about it. The course is OK if you can't draw. My daughter was gluing and sticking and doing potato printing !! All things I was doing with my children at home when they were 3 years old !! She was bored, fed up, and felt like she didn't learn anything whatsoever and found it a complete waste of time.
Obviously, standards have severely dropped since I studied art.
Also, my daughter was accused of bullying, where in fact it was her being bullied on line, by a student and her mother, and because it was on line, the school washed their hands of it and did nothing !!
My daughter has since left the college and as yet, I have not heard a word from anyone at the college. I am absolutely disgusted.
I would NOT recommend this college to anyone if it's fine art you want to study.
