An excellent language school that significantly boosts language proficiency in a short time—both for everyday English and academic English. The experience is not only highly effective but also enjoyable, with fascinating insights into English culture woven in. I attended to prepare for the TOEFL, and the three weeks were incredibly well-spent, leaving me more than satisfied with my final score. Dominic was a fantastic teacher who tailored his approach to our individual language levels and goals, and he even remained available as a contact for assistance with academic texts after the course ended. I've had the opportunity to lead teenage groups 5 times in the past two years. The College is really great under any perspective. Lessons are challanging and involving, as well as targeted on students according to their level; aftenoon and evening activities are fun, entertaining and focused on specific sectors of the language we rarely have time to teach in our standard lessons at school, such as the workshops of magic and drumming. Host families are warm and welcoming, none of our students has ever complained about anything (well, some may have complained about the food, but we all know Italians are a bit choosy about the subject). Most of all, everybody at Hilderstone is really caring about every single student and leader involved in the experience. Which is really worth to be lived. Thanks Hilderstone!!!

If you want to learn English, this is definitely the place to go!
I'm from the Czech Republic and few years ago I have decided to be in this English school for one month. I have been in this type of school before in Germany and England as well so I knew what to expect.
Everybody was so friendly and helpful, the place is really cosy and you'll find a lot of friends from all over the world. With the activities you'll practice the language and you'll have so much fun.
Believe me this is the right place and when your stay is coming to an end you would want to extend your stay.
You won't ever forget the amazing time you had!

The building itself might not impress and also the facilities rather spray the charm of their remains from the 1990s, but this outer impression is not to deceive from what this is about: a high-end English school and probably one of the best in the country!

Hilderstone College is all about quality in learning, inspiring students to get even deeper into their understanding of English and by doing so, the teachers inspire by their authenticity and dedication for their profession.

I was particularly impressed by how an atmosphere was created that gave a special feeling to being there from the first day on. Everybody were extremely friendly, open and helpful, which supported the whole experience and made it easier to focus on learning.

The teachers are outstanding and my personal gratitude especially goes to Peter Lawson, who is a master of the English language and through whom I personally have learned completely new aspects of this magnificent language.

So, never judge a book by its cover and if you are looking for an English school, I can highly recommend a stay at Hilderstone College, be it long or short, the results will be worth it!
