I studied English for a month at Kaplan (Bournemouth) and it was a great help to improve my speaking and listening skills. The teachers have different methodologies and dynamics that help in learning. The city of Bournemouth is very beautiful, in general the people are very friendly and in my case, I had a very good experience with each family home where I stayed.

Lessons got boring..monotonous.. repetitive after a while mostly reading from old books and then discussing with other studients.I repeated same actives 3x..play room where students mix is old and chairs broken table etc..but cleaning service were very friendly and they do their best.. facilitates very poor…admin staff not helpful!..they don’t put the heating on..summer activities more choice as the beach games that were very fun and enjoyable and nice to relate with other students..winter no variety of activities …John Thorpe is a good teacher and Sam..!!!
School location is the best…I arrived in July booked single room they put me sharing in a room with an Arab student in somebody’s garden annex wasn’t allowed in the house it was Indian family took 90 mins plus 2 buses..moved to residence..had something of my stuff stolen in first week…then moved to another family worst ever..very rude shouting at me I had to stand up to eat they open my bedroom door at 7am shouting even if my lessons were in the afternoon..moved …AGAIN to new family close to school own shower room 5 min walking..I was very lucky she was very helpful and kind.. also to practice the English and I was happy with her and her good food it took me four families before I felt happy and safe..I met other students in Bournemouth from other language schools and they told me how good their schools were..NO certificate just. Folder to put one in on my graduation..all excuses printer not working !!! It’s a very good place to meet people and make nice friends, especially in summer a lot of people from a lot of nationalities..in winter the majority are Arabs.

I studied at Kaplan for 3 months and it was a great experience. Professors Andrew Smith, John Smith and Naomi, who were my teachers during my journey at Kaplan, are excellent professionals, excellent teachers. Thank you for each lesson I learned. I met really cool people from different places in the world who I will take with me for the rest of my life. It was good to have had this experience at Kaplan and to have learned more for my life.

The main reason why I gave 5 starts is my host family.

I studied with Kaplan during the summer. My lesson time was changed to the afternoon, which wasn't ideal. The office staff weren't very helpful, but Sam and Paul were my best teachers. My host family was amazing; they lived close to the school, and my room was like a designer flat with my own bathroom. The lady took me everywhere out for meals. I miss her so much. Overall, it's a good experience if you get good accommodation.
Living with the best host family supported me a lot. I didn’t feel in her house as a guest I absolutely felt like my family house in my country. Very special thanks to Darcy for everything provided .
I highly recommend her for students who need to learn how to speak English in very short time

I have been studied in Kaplan Bournemouth for two weeks during the summer holidays. It was a great experience, the teachers are professional and well prepared, the lessons are very interesting, funny and engaging.
I learnt new vocabolary, grammar structures, english idioms, and I also had the pleasure to attend to the english business classes.
The School organises many activities, in the evening and in the week end, that are a really good opportunity to make friends, speak english and discover more about culture.

I had a great experience in Kaplan, thanks to the kindness of the teachers and of the staff of the School. I have really appreciated the time spent in Bournemouth, a nice and quiet city, with a wonderful seafront and a strategic position.

The courses were interesting, stimulating and well organized, with focus on grammar, vocabular and speaking about current themes. I had the opportunity to improve different skills related to the languange, also thanks to the wide variety of activities that the School proposes.

I strongly suggest this experience to students and workers who wants to deepen the study of english.
