The centre used to be good but since it has reopened after the lockdown, the council have taken over control. They totally ignored the bookings from groups who had been already using the centre on a weekly/monthly basis and accepted requests from different groups. This meant that the usual groups have had to change days, times, room sizes- if there is room for them now. The room we use for table tennis is now much smaller. Table tennis is one of the best exercises for older people but i am considering giving it up as the room is too small for comfort. There are too few spaces in the car park, we have to park in surrounding streets now. Altogether, it is no longer a good experience.

Lighting is harsh without ability to dim lights for slide presentations. It's all or nothing.

It's a nice place with different classes( dance, yoga etc), especially for children. The rooms can be private hired for meetings. They have catering facilities and there could be a nice cafe in there.

Very clean and tidy. Pleasant ambiance. Only drawback is that the carpark is a bit small and all the nearby roads have double yellow lines.

Family attends certain clubs here. Halls are spacious, kitchen and toilet areas lovely and clean. Great for private events too.

My first visit was to see a film which was excellent, very friendly people and excellent service and value. I will definitely be going back for other events in the future.
Highly recommended.
