Flawless experience except for two main factor:

You can’t use pen and paper during the writing part, which is somewhat annoying since you’re not able to plan the essay.

The ID verification progress is simply terrible, it took almost half an hour because the room was “too bright” and there was some glare in the photos.

Overall good experience, I would recommend it.

I took UK English test General for UK work permit and found LanguaCert experience very smooth. They are very well organized and professional. They answer any questions promptly. Lot of material for students to prepare and crisp and clear instruction for everything. They have lot of slot for taking test and as compared to others you can get a date almost immediately. One thing which can be improved is turn around time for giving the results

I am really disappointed.
The speaking part of the test was a disaster. I had to take a call with an extremely unstable connection: I couldn't turn up the volume, my examiner was mumbling the entire time, and everything that was said was distorted. I also had to complete this part with 12 other people in the same room, meaning everyone was talking at once. The quality was terrible!
They even misspelled my name on my certificate, despite me providing the correct spelling two weeks before the exam. I contacted LanguageCert privately about this but have not received a response yet.

It such an honour to share my experience during my exam last week 29th of January.It was amazing experience. During my speaking the connection it wasn't good.I ask the questions. To say it again because I didn't catch that question.She response politely until I quick to answer that certain question and i answer well. The staff always there for you to assist once you raise your hands...

Horrible company. I paid £175 for a test I couldn’t attend and could not get a refund. I booked the test a week in advance and asked for the next available dates in my city. When they booked it I never received a confirmation email. I then called them To ask why my confirmation email was because I’d already paid over the phone. They then said there was a glitch in the system and I’ll get the email in the next 24 hours. Six days later, I received the email saying that my appointment was in London, which I couldn’t attend because it’s too far. I tried to ask for a refund, but it was not within the 72 hour period to your appointment to cancel. When I contacted the representative to rearrange the booking, he told me he was unable to so and I would need to change it myself by creating an account on the website. After attempting to do so with no luck as it wasn’t working, I proceeded to contact the technical support team who tried to connect me to the customer service team who were unavailable. The technical support team assured me that I would receive a call back the next day which I never did. I know that the lack of timely official confirmation, poor customer service, and organisational inadequacies were beyond my control and therefore I should not be penalised for this. Please save yourself the stress and go elsewhere for your test.
