My husband and I joined Raffaella for a Languages Alive course in Nettuno earlier this year and had the best time. We prepared with the online course (only the first session!) before we met Raffaella in Rome. We were whisked off to Nettuno and from there we were fully immersed in the local culture and language. We were fortunate to cook with local restaurant owners and drink wine at a local vineyard. All while learning Italian. Being surrounded by the language helped us to learn at lot in just three days.
While we were there, Raffaella made sure that we were thoroughly looked after. My husband and I are both vegans and we did not go hungry!

Languages Alive is an excellent, personalised service that I would highly recommend to anyone. My Italian teacher Raffaella is wonderful, engaging, kind, and enthusiastic. She is very diligent and always prepares materials ahead of the class. She is attentive, flexible, fun to work with, and cares for her student’s needs by individually catering to their level. She is selfless, and often our lessons would run overtime at no extra charge, simply because we were enjoying it so much! Rafaella has been my wife and my teacher for the past 2 months. We are relatively new to Italian lessons and she's laid out learning plan that starts us from the beginning. Raffaella teaches my 7 and 4 year old together. She teaches in a fun and interactive way fully immersing them in the language rather than reverting to English translation. Their concentration spans inevitably vary but she is very good at changing the temple and medium of learning to keep it dynamic and engaging. Highly recommended!
