I would highly recommend this school as we had absolutely fantastic teacher training course in March 2023.
The school is nicely located in the outstanding city of Bath which is about 50 min. drive from Bristol airport. Bath is full of history but you can also easily get to Bristol, London or Stonehenge and have a lovely day out.
Teachers and the course were amazing, host families - welcoming and friendly.
Languages United is the best language school ever!

I'm a professor at a university in Japan who has been taking students to the UK for nearly 20 years, and I can honestly say that I have never coordinated a study-abroad programme with nicer people or encountered a more wonderful language school! Literally all of the staff at Languages United made the effort to get to know all of my students personally and were genuinely concerned for their welfare. Their encouraging, friendly demeanours were enormously helpful in enabling my students to relax and enjoy their uniformly excellent and stimulating English classes. The quality of the teaching was so good, in fact, that it has inspired me to incorporate some of their ideas into my own teaching (and there can surely be no higher accolade than that!). Furthermore, and having encountered what I thought were Bath's nicest people in the office at Languages United, I was amazed to find that the host families to which they had assigned my students were just as warm and personable. My students could barely bear to drag themselves away to return to Japan!

If you are thinking about doing a homestay in the Bath area and/or developing your English language skills, then it is my firm conviction that you can do no better than to go through Languages United - a supremely professional institution that has somehow managed to retain a family feel. You'll love it!

I myself visited Languages United this September and well know the managers, who are very innovative and make sure that all the students get maximum from their time in Bath.

My students attended languages United last year in September for a week . It was a wonderful experience ! Bath is a very welcoming town as well as the languages United . The teachers are prepared and very friendly . The families are quite good and our students were happy about them !

Me and my wife studied English there for few months. Lovely staff and great location. Cozy study rooms provide a very relaxing atmosphere unlike other crowded languages schools where they toss people above each other just for their money.
I did an advance level course and my wife did an intermediate level course. We both enjoyed every aspect of it.
