Ely taught my son Spanish.

Ely's first language is Spanish and she now lives in England with her family I think this gives her a unique perspective of what it is to learn a language.

Her passion for language and education shines through and she encourages students to immerse themselves in speaking Spanish in her lessons, which increases their confidence in the language.

During his time with having lessons with Ely my son's grades at school improved dramatically and I feel confident that when we go on holiday to Spain my son would be able to understand and hold a conversation in Spanish which is a really good skill to have!

I would highly recommend Ely and her services, she is a lovely person and a great teacher 🙂

Both my daughter and I have been taught by Ely. Ely is an exceptional teacher in my opinion. My daughter attained a high grade at GCSE after moving school at an inconvenient time and swapping to Spanish. She is understanding about inevitable misunderstandings, for example, those encountered when learning grammar and verb tenses we British have little understanding of due to our lack of basic grammar education. She is flexible and adaptable in lessons adjusting content to overcome issues she identifies and she is always smiling and generous with her praise. She shows great flexibility when teaching those who are hard of hearing. She is always encouraging and helpful, prepared to go the extra mile to produce extra resources to help reinforce learning and deepening understanding.

I had Ely as a tutor for my Spanish a level. She was always so patient and never made me feel bad if I didn’t understand something right away. She would go through things with me as many times as I needed. As well as that she would always take time out of the lesson to mark any of my practice exams as well as her watching the movie my exam was on. She was a brilliant teacher and I don’t think I’d have been able to finish my a level without her 🙂
