I wanted to start learning German as my boyfriend is from Germany but I struggled with languages at school, so I was hesitant. I had an initial call with Maria and explained my worries, my background in the arts and the creative world and she really listened and based on everything I said, suggested Martina as a good fit for me. I met with Martina in her home and I immediately knew this was not like going back to school. Martina is also a creative and makes the lessons very fun and interesting through games, songs and conversations. I have never once felt bored and her passion for languages actually makes me want to learn more. I have learnt not only about the language but about the history and the culture of Germany. Maria also checks in every now and again which is great because I can feedback on things I would like to work on and she then checks in with Martina and lets her know. They really tailor the learning to your own individual needs which is brilliant! I strongly recommend this company as they are not only professional but highly caring and passionate.

I have been working on my french with Anne-Camille through virtual classes for the past few months, and I've absolutely loved the experience! As a Parisian, Anne-Camille has a rich, native comprehension of the french language. She has an incredibly friendly demeanor and a wonderful approach to teaching. Our classes are fun and often pass by too quickly. Anne-Camille has a lovely way of weaving together structured and organic learning, dedicating time to formal lessons and easy-going conversation. She often lets me determine the balance and content of each class, empowering me to guide the lessons to best serve me and my goals with the language.

My aim from the start has been to dust off my french and become very comfortable in a conversational setting. As someone who grew up learning french in school many years ago, I have definitely rediscovered my confidence speaking and writing in french. Anne-Camille is most certainly to thank for this! I have also appreciated the high standard of communication from her and Learn&Co. I highly recommend Learn&Co, and specifically Anne-Camille, for improving your french in a professional and enjoyable way.

I always enjoy my French lessons with Anne-Camille. They are fun, varied and interesting. My interests, and other items that we discuss, are often incorporated and in a very natural way. She is very patient and always positive. With the knowledge gained each week from her methodical but flexible approach, I feel more confident in all aspects of my French. I started French tutoring with Maria about 4 months ago and it has been incredibly beneficial. I work for a large financial corporation and I wanted to increase our business presence in the French speaking countries in North Africa. Maria has been the absolute professional and thinks outside the box to make my learning as beneficial for my intentions as possible.

I started with a very basic knowledge of my GCSE french and am now in a position where I can understand and participate in live conversations, the speed of leaning is amazing. Obviously it all depends on how much work one puts in outside of class lessons, but the ability to learn quickly is great.

Working weekly with Maria for over a year was extremely advantageous and beneficial to my French speaking skills. I have very much enjoyed my lessons with Anne-Camille over the last year. The sessions have been fun and always tailored to my interests/topics of choice and ability. She is a patient but very engaging teacher and there has been a good mix of oral, written and grammatical work with no judgement on any mistakes. The zoom format combined with a shared drive works very well and I can’t imagine it being any easier/more effective in person. Anne-Camille always tries her best to rearrange lessons to fit in with my timetable. Thank you very much for all the help and support Anne-Camille!

My tutor was fantastic, she really helped me increase my confidence with French and our lessons were the perfect balance between grammar and chit-chat. My tutor would always recommend films/podcasts etc that were specific to my interests, making the homework fun and enjoyable. My partner’s family are French, and as a result of tuition with Learn & Co I felt able to converse with them in their native language for the first time. Maria helms the agency, and I find her to be proactive, organised and extremely competent. Would highly recommend.
