Helen taught me in both French and Spanish at GCSE, she was recommended to me by the school as they didn't offer Spanish and with her help I attained top marks in both languages. I continued with Helen for A level French and again came out with what I needed for university. She is a fantastic teacher and I couldn't recommend her more highly no matter what level you are! I will miss no longer having my lessons!

Helen was recommended to us as the sole tutor for our son's French GCSE (due to an options clash in school) and we have been so pleased with her tuition. She made him feel at home right from the first lesson and the one to one teaching never felt awkward. He made excellent progress and is now doing A-level French in school, but was keen to keep the extra support from Helen as he finds her lessons so helpful. We would happily recommend Lloyds Languages to anyone!

Spanish wasn't offered at my school, so I studied it as an extra-curricular subject with Helen, form a beginner level through to GCSE and A-Level. Her lessons were always interesting and engaging, and Helen herself is a lovely person, always friendly and approachable. I really enjoyed learning Spanish with Helen, and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher!

I studied both French and Spanish with Helen at GCSE and A-Level. She is extremely friendly, passionate and very good at putting students at ease, raising their confidence and supporting them so they succeed. I cannot recommend Helen enough! I used to really enjoy going to my classes (despite being a hormonal teenager), especially with the complimentary tea and biscuit and her beautiful dogs!
Because of Helens support, i was able to go to university to study languages and I am now a languages teacher myself; something which I didn't think possible.

I have been having French lessons with Helen since May 2020 - leading up to my GCSEs this year and I whole-heartedly recommend her teaching! Helen's good humour, friendliness and approachability creates a great student-teacher relationship. Lessons are always productive and informative with the best resources always made available. My year 10 target grade for French was a 6 (B+), yet due to Helen's tutoring I have achieved a grade 9 (above A* equivalent). I cannot thank her enough and am looking forward to continuing French with her into the Future!

Helen is an amazing tutor and I would 100% recommend using Lloyds Languages! I got an A* in GCSE Spanish with Helen. Furthermore, I didn’t do great in my A Levels at Sixth Form and didn’t get into my first choice of uni. I decided to retake my French and Spanish A level with Helen and got an A and B respectively. Nearly 5 years later, I’ve just graduated from Newcastle university in French and Spanish and I had the most amazing year abroad in Paris and Valencia. I really do owe it all to Helen, I couldn’t recommend her enough!!
