Just graduated from LSDA last year. There’s honesty so many brilliant things about the advanced course I wouldn’t really know where to begin. I was one of the youngest of the course so I feel like my goals when I left the course were different to others because for me, this course made me realise how little I know about the profession. Which made the course quite daunting at points because it felt like I was holding people back and that really wasn’t the case.
This course is 100% worth it, I would even go as far as saying it’s above that because of the people I’ve met and the directors I’ve worked with and how they've elevated me to try new things which I would have never had gone for if it wasn’t for the safe and creative atmosphere that this school has.

My advice is just to take in as much as you can from everyone around you
The course goes by really quickly and the main aspect it excels in is allowing you to work out for yourself which techniques and ideas given to you by the various lessons and projects work for you and your processes.
In turn strengthening “the tools in your tools box” it sounds a bit wanky lol but it’s true
The amount of things you will learn from this course will be worth it’s weight in gold - last thing, make all the notes!
I have like 3 bulky notebooks full of lessons and notes and it’s been really helpful to go back to and research into specifics which sometimes the course won’t cover because of how they have to cover so much in such a short amount of time.
But yeah I could be here all day talking about how LSDA has basically changed my life.

I graduated this year from LSDA, I did the 2 years part time course in drama and that was one of the best experience I've ever had, probably the best decision I've ever made. I didn't know many schools as I'm not from London or the UK and I'm so glad I went to LSDA, it was the perfect course for me. The quality of the school, the principal and the tutors are just amazing. I realized that with my experience itself there but also when I share my experience with other people of the industry. I recommend 100% that school ! I now have much more confidence, tools and skills to pursue my career as an actor. Everyone is so supportive ! I met so many great people there and want to keep these friendships. What an experience !

Such a great place! Small groups give you lots of personal follow-up, all the teachers are super knowledgeable and since you get the opportunity to work with lots of different teachers, you get a really thorough insight into the industry. The administration are lovely and arriving to class each day feels like coming home. Would recommend for anyone looking to expand on their craft, no matter age, ethnicity or nationality - you'll be welcome at LSDA!

I recently graduated from the 1 year advanced course at LSDA and it was truly the best year of my life! This school provides its students with various different tools and techniques to take your acting and performing abilities to the next level. I had the opportunity step up my acting game in a safe and supportive environment and had so much fun in the process. The staff and students that I trained with were extremely uplifting and encouraging and I can confidently say that I have made friends for life.

I recently graduated from LSDA and I'm immensely grateful to Jake, our principal, and every tutor and support staff that have helped me thrive in the acting industry. I'm now signed with a wonderful agency and have booked commercials and workshops that I love. LSDA has helped me grow as an actor, it has also helped me thrive in terms of creativity and I've met so many amazing actors that are now life long friends and connections to the industry. I'm so happy that I've decided to pursue my acting career choosing LSDA as my school and I 100% recommend it to any future actors.

Amazing Drama School and they definitely exceed my expectations after completing my degree! Firstly, the syllabus was well structured, gave exposure to wide range of Acting subjects/techniques and had depth. Second, the teachers and staff was the best part of LSDA, they were very experienced, hands on, professional and cared about your education growth, they definitely challenge you. Third, the style of teaching at LSDA was exercise base rather than just theory. Fourth, you will be part of a class of other inspiring actors during your degree who share the same passion, they will be a big part of your learning curve and you will build a special bond with them like non other. One of the best experiences I have ever had.

I did the Advanced Diploma in Acting at LSDA and genuinely had the best year. The small classes guarantee a focus on each student which is a huge opportunity to learn and grow as an actor. I feel like I've grown so much within the intense year-long course and met friends for life too!

I was considering going to LSDA for a while, but then I took the courage to join the course last year and I think it was the best decision for me.
LSDA it’s a small school that offers you a huge opportunity to grow.. they focus on each student individually and you will always feel seen and listened to.

I applied to the advanced full-time course it was challenging for me commit for a whole year, but I knew that everything was planned and well thought for my growth.

All I can say it’s a great great course, even if you can’t commit for a whole year, take some of their shorter courses!!

Shoutout to Jake (the principal) who’s the best! 😁
