There's no better place in London for the homesick Welsh person inside you. It's a big, old building which inside feels like a cross between the Neuadd Sir and your local rugby club. Watching the Wales v England match here felt like watching it in Cardiff. The Mari Lwyd night was incredible too.

Recently started visiting the upstairs bar again after a gap of nearly thirty years and it hasn't changed. I'm told it has been refurbished, but obviously in the same original style. This is a little disconcerting but who am to question. Its quiet and OK with friends, but not for losing yourself in a crowd (this was Thursday night mind)
Staff were convivial, prices reasonable with a decent selection of welsh ales and stout and well kept.
I think the three stars is based on the lack of change, though I'm no regular and that may well be what the punters want. Open to all comers, its like a private club that few know about.

Nice bar room with a high vaulted ceiling here which is open to the public (I think it's mostly Wednesday and Thursday evenings - best to check). Lovely to hear Welsh being spoken in central London.

A great find in the city, ideal home from home for the Welsh. Shows the rugby with a cracking atmosphere, serves food during the game and stocks Welsh beverages only. One punter complained that the wording on the toilet signs was 'funny' until it was pointed out that dynion is Welsh for gentleman and he was in the Welsh club. Not for everyone but a great place for the those who want to enjoy a friendly place to watch the rugby!

Very cosy place and the staff is very welcoming. They told us everything there is to know about Welsh culture events in London and taught us quite a bit about Wales, the language, and the folklore!
