I highly recommend Maria for her diagnosis services for Dyslexia & Irlen Syndrome.
My son has high anxiety with new people however Maria made him feel very at ease and he was really comfortable opening up about his difficulties, her time and care really helped my son understand his needs and now we have a report we will be able to get the correct adjustments in place for him.

Maria has been an absolute God send for my family…she works with 3 of my grandchildren aged between 10 and 15 years old,. Two of the children have complex needs and being unable to attend school for quite some time, I was amazed how Maria was able to succeed with them, where others have failed. The level of enthusiasm they felt was sustained until their next meeting, curious to know what they would be working on next. Maria treats each child as an individual and observes how they interact and understand before deciding what to work on next, she is very much drawn by the child and how they present on the day, each time they think they are just playing, she informs them of the work they have accomplished. My eldest granddaughter has struggled in school for many years and in just one lesson with Maria she has become so proud of herself and what she has achieved with Maria’s caring and understanding approach. I only wish we found Marla sooner but so glad to now know such a wonderful lady. I would not hesitate to recommend Marla for all children with SEN.

My daughter has been having tuition with Maria since October as she was really struggling with her phonics and reading. She absolutely loves her sessions with Maria and since starting she has now gone up a reading group at school. I’m so pleased with the progress she’s made and will continue to make. We have been so happy with Maria's one to one teaching with our daughter. From the start our daughter was relaxed with Maria's friendly manner, and she really looks forward to her sessions with her. Every lesson Maria introduces a new method of learning, through fun games, and our daughter is genuinely inspired to do her best in an encouraging and accepting environment. Maria has an accurate understanding of age appropriate targets and learning, and it is an absolute pleasure to hear our daughter enjoying her sessions, and being comfortable enough to offer many of her own ideas to Maria's questions.
