Spent this weekend with Imogen at Moon Studios, at one of her weekend throwing course. What a weekend of creativity. Imogen is such a lovely person, so helpful, explains everything so carefully. A weekend of complete creativity, I highly recommend it to anyone. I now have to wait for my creations to be completed. Thank you Imogen, you are the best.

I did a wheel throwing class this past week and couldn’t have had a better experience. Imogen was a great teacher, taking the time to show us the process before coaching us through as we had a hands on experience. She even let us make mistakes which I really appreciated so that we knew how to correct our technique the next time. I had a blast and already can’t wait to come back for more! And I can’t wait to see my finished pieces in a few weeks!

Imogen was a fantastic teacher, she was clear on how to improve and we all made fast progress throughout the day. It was very hands on and we had lots of time to experiment and practise. By the end of the day we had a great selection of pieces and I'm looking forward to seeing how they come out of the kiln in a few weeks time!

Excellent day on this one day potters wheel taster. Imogen is a great, and patient, tutor! There was lots of time using the wheel, and we all had one each. I made about 8 or 9 things and we chose 3 each at the end to be fired and take home in 6 weeks. Great fun!

We had a fantastic time with Imogen at Moon Studios - she was so accommodating, supportive and encouraging. We could not have been two more different students - my husband is a natural potter it seems, picking up the skills really quickly and producing three amazing little pots during our session. I really struggled to find a comfortable way of working despite Imogen trying the wheel in both directions for me to see which one worked best and providing patient, positive feedback to improve my technique. I did manage to get one little pot created and then called it a day and sat enjoying a cup of coffee in the relaxing and peaceful surroundings. We both had a great time and would totally recommend this as a fun activity for anyone.

I did a full day of throwing. I’m a complete beginner. It was utterly absorbing. Everyone has their own wheel. Imogen explains the process really clearly and gives great guidance. I really enjoyed the day, I didn’t think I’d be able to make anything decent but everyone in our group produced some lovely pots.
