Great accommodations and views, wonderful little getaway. Great staff. In-residence course was the perfect way to take book study and put into practical application. They’re doing a wonderful job bringing back the Welsh language and teaching the culture.

A little difficulty leaving if you don’t have a car. Avoid the timing that taxis are doing school runs for an easier time. All taxis were very friendly, we used Evans taxi for 3 separate occasions.

Fantastic little drive on what can be challenging roads, opens out onto a fantastic view of the village and surrounding quarry.
Fab little cafe, which a good choice on the menu.
Had a good walk around the site and visited the chapel/visitors centre and one of the quarrymans houses.

I would like to thank the team at Caffi Meinir who re-opened for us when we visited with two French companions, such a good example of Welsh hospitality in such a stunning location. It is over twenty years since I have been in the Nant and what a wonderful redevelopment they have achieved. Moreover the warmth of the welcome, the setting and the ever so tasty Bra Birth loaf was a revelation to out friends

From the very first contact over telephone with Mair, every second of our wedding planning has been an absolute pleasure. ||We visited Nant during covid times, and all staff ensured safety and cleanliness at all times.|We visited Wales on a beautiful sunny afternoon in the hunt for our dream wedding venue, we first stopped at Nant, and the minute we drove down the hill and saw the sea view & the beautiful village I was speechless. Llinos showed us around the venue and was very helpful and very knowledgeable, all the staff we met that day were so friendly, happy and helpful and we knew straight away that this was the wedding location for us, and we booked it there and then - not many people can say they only visited one potential wedding venue. ||Mair was always at the end of the phone or on emails at all hours to help with any questions - I had plenty, and was never made to feel like a nuisance. |We made the opportunity to visit quite a few times before the wedding, the team always greeted us so warmly. |Having never organised a wedding before and not knowing what to expect throughout the lead up, living 2.5hrs away and not just being able to pop there it was quite daunting but Mair made it all very easy and she made it such a breeze for us, for which we are so grateful ||The day before the wedding Mair was on hand to go through everything with us and answer any questions we had, we arrived expecting to put our all the tables and chairs ourselves but arrived the chair and table all dressed and ready for us to put our place name and favours etc. |we had around 20-30 people stay the night before the wedding and we all sat out on the terrace with food and drinks available - this really started the weekend off with a bang and was one of our favourite parts of the weekend.|Miriam was fantastic and so helpful with all our guests to help them book accommodation, very accommodating for older member of the family’s mobility needs etc. |We checked into our rooms and the bridal cottage is absolutely stunning, plenty of room for the bridal team to get ready and a lovely bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the fridge. ||On our wedding day again Mair was always available and had everything in hand which meant there was nothing for us to sort or suppliers to meet and meant I had a lovely relaxed morning in the lead up to the day. |Mair came and met us 10 minutes before the ceremony and walked round with my mam to the ceremony room which was very kind and thoughtful. ||After the ceremony we walked down to the decking and the staff were ready waiting with the drinks for the drinks reception, the whole day and vibe was chilled and relaxed and that’s the feedback we’ve had from our guests that it was the most relaxed and beautiful wedding they have ever been to. ||Our food was absolutely phenomenal, I dint have high hopes as weddings I’ve been to before to food has been over cooked and cold but credit to the chef and kitchen staff, the food was 5* worthy. ||Our whole day was perfect from start to finish and we wouldn’t have changed a thing! ||I would recommend Nant Gwrtheyrn in a heartbeat and cannot wait to return for our 1st anniversary

What an amazing wedding venue! The location and the views are stunning, we had sunny weather and can't wait to see the photographers pictures with the beautiful sunset that we had. We got married in the Chapel which was perfect, the food was delicious and the rooms were clean and tidy. Mair and her staff went above and beyond, we were able to tweak things to suit our day - nothing was too much trouble. It's a fantastic location to spend time with family, we all loved every second of our weekend at the Nant and we can't wait to visit again. We would highly recommend this beautiful venue to couples looking for the perfect wedding location ❤
