I attended training with my pup, Milo, who was rehomed to me at 8 months old. As my oldest dog was 16, I thought I needed a refresher in dog training and wanted to bond with my new charge. We came to group class. We had a 1:1 first, which was really helpful. Even as an experienced dog owner, I learnt so much in how to support Milo. We both loved coming to class, and he changed from an anxious dog to much more chilled, and he was very responsive to the training. Martina gives advice regarding how best to train and engage with your dog. She is alert to any potential problems be that during the training or if at the beginning of class check-in you mention a issue. She also sends you extra info via emails to help with your training. Her training is informative, supportive, effective and kind- our dogs welfare is paramount. The training develops around positive reinforcement. I love the fact that we can have classes in the polytunnel so the weather doesn't interfere with the training schedule (unless we are visited by storms!). Milo has been very responsive to his training, he is now a cheeky 18 month old and attended 2 classes. As we love it so much I am going to attend again to keep me focused and him engaged. I thoroughly recommend Martina.

Martina and her training techniques are really good. She puts animal welfare at the forefront. The training is easy to follow and explained well.
The facilities are enclosed, spacious and well equipped and most importantly, safe.
Martina is very helpful and supportive, even away from classes.
My 4 month old Labrador Shadow loves the classes and we have now booked the intermediate classes.

We decided to take our rescue Fox Terrier, Bella, along to North Norfolk Dog Training for one to one training sessions. Bella is a very loveable, excitable little dog but unfortunately does not like other dogs very much! Right from the outset Martina gave us some training techniques to try at home in order to build Bella’s confidence and not be scared of the world outside of the comforts of her home! Some 11 months on, we are able to walk around Drove Orchards (albeit on Mondays when it is quieter) but Bella loves wandering around, popping into the cafe, and although she sees the occasional dog is able to observe (sometimes react) and then walk on. Martina has also been able to train the “owner” to not react when Bella sees another dog … but this is still work in progress! The training centre at Drove Orchards is very well equipped and under cover for those days when the weather is not so kind!

Martina is a competent, approachable, experienced dog trainer who delivers training in a friendly and supportive way, along with having lots of patience!

Our training is ongoing but I can see we are making progress with Bella so more than happy to continue receiving Martina’s expert guidance.

I have been attending classes with Martina since last year with my Labrador Doug. We started with Puppy classes then moved onto Adolescent and now Continue Classes. All the lessons have been enjoyable , varied, well explained and always at the dog’s pace. We receive the training instructions through email which we have been working on in the class to continue at home. I also do 1-2-1 to help Doug with confidence building. These have really helped him as we are able to go out and have real life experiences with step by step instructions on how to support him and read his body language. I have learnt such a lot. I cannot recommend Martina highly enough. She is so knowledgeable, helpful and so supportive in helping Doug and I on our journey. Thank you so much Martina

We attended puppy classes four years ago and again earlier this year with our new puppy, both working cocker spaniels. Martina’s training methods and guidance were invaluable, training us to train our dogs in a force free, reward based way. The training area is set up with a lot of equipment and the classes were varied, addressing essential training and fun stuff too. The polytunnel kept us dry and warm in bad weather and the secure outdoor grassy area is lovely in the sunshine. We also had a couple of one to one sessions with our older puppy to reinforce recall and I’m sure I’ll be back for more with the future. I highly recommend Martina’s North Norfolk Dog Training.

We have completed two courses ( puppy and teenager) at North Norfolk Dog Training with Martina. They were fun and informative, giving us structure and support to develop our dog training at home. Our dog was ( and is) very excitable but Martina took it in her stride, giving us good tips to help us on our training journey.
A great way to learn about positive training and to support the basics and learn fun games to build a firm relationship with your dog. 100% recommend!

I took Jasper my Parson Russell Terrier in March when he was 10 months old for a 5 day 1-2-1 sessions with Martina and it was very helpful to both of us. We both learned a lot, it was fun and professionally conducted.
The centre has an amazing setting. Parsons are very clever and active dogs; our previous boy lived 18 years. I continued the training at home trying to remember all Martina's tips. Martina provided great videos of the classes and it was very helpful. I love North Norfolk so we are returning in October for a refreshing 1-2-1 sessions and a short break. Coming from London I really could not recommend more The North Norfolk Dog Training Centre and it is a great way to combine a holiday with some
training for your pooch. A well behaved dog is a happy dog and I am a very happy dog owner. Thank you Martina.

I’ve recently returned to Martina with my nearly 3-year old dog, having done puppy training with her when he was younger (and a few bits of other training in between). I can only say how lovely it has been to be back. We’ve been in a group class (though only 3 dogs) and it has given my very lively, active and apparently intelligent dog renewed focus and lots to keep him busy. I’d forgotten how much he loves to work and had neglected this. Martina has been fantastic and has given me lots of hints and tips in order to try to encourage calmness in him. We both think she’s amazing!!
