Federica is a highly competent Italian language teacher. We have been working together one on one for several months. She is extremely knowledgeable about Italian grammar but more than this, she has a very empathetic and understanding approach, always encouraging and commending you. Despite my mistakes, she has a way of making me feel that I am making good progress. I always feel that I am learning and improving. She has very clever ways of explaining and helping you to understand the language. Federica is a very kind and gentle person with a lovely and effective teaching style and I recommend her highly. You will definitely learn to speak and understand Italian with Federica.

I took Italian lessons with Federica a few years ago and she is the most thoughtful and patient teacher that I have ever had. She has a very creative approach to designing interesting and enjoyable lessons that consist of a well-balanced mix of reading, listening, and speaking tasks on a variety of topics, which keeps things really engaging.

Federica was very attentive to my pace and learning style, and knew when to push me and when to slow things down, so I never felt overwhelmed or frustrated. Her encouragement really helped me to build my confidence in speaking Italian.

Federica is a great teacher, and her lessons (1-1 virtual) are engaging, fun, practical, and for me have been a really effective way of quite rapidly improving my language skills (whilst also exploring interesting areas of Italian film and culture). Federica is an amazing language teacher! I so appreciate her being very patient and encouraging throughout all the classes! The classes have their focus on being communicative, meaning there is a lot of classroom interaction and focus on learning how to speak and have fun with the beautiful Italian language. Federica is very attentive and active during the lessons herself, which is great - so she is always there to support you whenever you have a question. She creates a very positive classroom atmosphere and that's why no one is ever afraid to say something and participate. I couldn't have found a better teacher and recommend her without hesitation!

I’m absolutely delighted to have discovered Of Course Italian, and our wonderful teacher, Federica. She takes so much time and trouble preparing the lessons, providing interesting and varied resources, and leading us gently through the complex process of learning a new language. She is so kind and supportive, really encouraging, and creates a positive atmosphere among the group where you feel compelled to do your very best!

Federica is a fabulous teacher and I enjoy all of our lessons hugely. She incorporates vocabulary and grammar seamlessly with Italian culture, literature, art, history, philosophy, food...and so much more! Federica is a great teacher, she taught at our pace and each topic was covered clearly and in depth. There was a real focus on practicing our speaking and listening skills which I loved, and it really helped me grow in confidence. She supported us throughout and always answered our questions! I liked the online classes as it meant I could log on after work, and Federica always had an excellent lesson plan and shared her screen. This was a learning format I thought worked really well.

Every lesson is interactive, filled with conversation and an excellent focus on grammar. Federica had us speaking Italian within the first few minutes of our first class. The colleagues in my class are also so friendly and we all support each other. I am loving the interactive conversations with them 🙂 Federica is phenomenal and such a wonderful teacher! Highly recommended!
