Jens has been an excellent teacher! I had some German knowledge before joining his class two years ago, and I couldn’t be happier with my progress. As a result of Jens' teaching, I have moved to Hamburg for work, and his classes gave me the knowledge and confidence to do so. A fantastic teacher! I have been studying with Jens for almost a year now and have seen great progress in that time. Classes are the perfect size to allow for all students to actively participate and cover listening, reading, writing and speaking exercises equally. Jens is also very patient when teaching all the dreaded German grammar rules! 10/10 - highly recommended.

I studied at the Olesen Tuition for approximately 2 years after starting out learning German in evening classes at a University and I found the difference in teaching significant. I worked with 3 or 4 different teachers in my time there ( including Jens himself) and I found them to be all excellent & experienced native teachers. They were very friendly and had really good teaching methods and explained things very well.
The class setting was also perfect for me as there were maximum 5 -6 students in each class. You never felt left out amongst the other learners.
Jens has been really encouraging in my language journey even when I have felt inadequate. I only went away for a temporary hiatus but I will definitely return. I highly recommended this independent language school.
