I recently had the unfortunate experience of applying for the Centre Manager position at Oxford International Education Group. The recruitment process, particularly the online interview, left a lot to be desired and has left me with a negative impression of the organisation.

The interview was scheduled for today (01 May 2024)via Microsoft Teams with the Recruitment Manager, Mr. Luke Newsholme. However, to my dismay, Luke failed to show up for the interview, wasting my time and demonstrating a lack of professionalism and respect. This is a clear red flag for all stakeholders, as it reflects poorly on the organisation's communication and commitment to its potential employees and learners including parents/guardians.

As a candidate, I was looking forward to the opportunity to discuss my qualifications and experience with Oxford International Education Group. However, the lack of punctuality and respect for my time has left me questioning the organisation's values and priorities. This has led me to immediately withdraw my candidacy.

In conclusion, my experience with Oxford International Education Group has been disappointing and unprofessional. I would strongly advise potential applicants and parents to reconsider their decision to apply for positions within this organisation, as it may not be the best fit for those seeking a professional and respectful work environment.

I have also left a review on TrustPilot.

I applied with Oxford Group to the University of Bradford. Submitted everything for my Cas. On the school it says they issue you as soon as your proof of payment matures and I have been giving them time. I am now in the 4th week my Cas Shield is not even moving it still says reviewing documents. Also their phone number at the University of Bradford for visa support is barely picked up

Having had a successful interview with oxford international, I was told that I would receive an email to send my DBS etc, I did not receive one and had to then call. This was the regular experience when dealing with the company with no follow up and it being on me to call.

Following this I managed to get hold of the correct person to send me the email they assured in the interview, this was after several attempts at getting through and having to wait for two and a half hours with no acceptance of the call. I after sending the correct documentation, I called again to follow up with again another assurance that I would start work the next day at 6pm and would send an email to let me know all the details.

Finally due to a holiday I had planned a year ago of which I let them know on the day of the interview and had plenty of time to let me know I could not work as a result; I called on the day I was supposed to go to the location to start and was told that due to my holiday interrupting I could not continue. Bear in mind I would have gone to the location to start the job, had packed and had told my family and had I not called on the day would not have known anything.

This experience was nothing short of a wild goose chase and I would advise all applying to be weary of this company.

One of the worst schools that I studied at, I did not benefit from anything. They lied to me, they gave me a false promise, and they have a big problem. The accommodation and diversity of students in it is bad. Most of the students are from Brazil or Morocco. The only good thing is its location and the activities only. The management is bad and the administration with red hair is very racist.

I went to the Oxford international school in Greenwich high road a few times to ask information about English courses for my step sister who was coming over the summer to work for me as an Au-pair. The receptionist was really friendly and offered me a discount because my sister was my Au-pair, I was really happy because I didn't know you could have discount for that; One month later my sister arrived from Spain and we went to sign up and again a nice receptionist with curly hair told me the price and administration fee. 4 days later (today) It wasn't possible because the two receptionists today said I couldn't have any discount because she was my step sister and is not an Au-pair. It's fine if the rules are like that but I think everyone in reception should know how everything works, because some told me it was fine and some today said It wasn't. Lucky they are plenty English school in the area.
